It's the new way of doing business.
It cost's nothing for them to do it and they lazy shit's that devs are these days will adopt this tactic quick.
I still have every console and game I have ever bought.
I can never understand this "trade in generation" You buy a game full price retail, then trade in for less and you lose the game just to do it again with the next one.
I'm currently playing through Witcher at the moment on Steam and if you plan on getting Withcer 2 then play this please.
It's far better than Mass Effect 1/2 or Dragon age.
I feel sorry for all the console kids that will get this and have no idea what went down in the first 1. it is a very deep and engaing story.
HURP A DERP TO THAT GRAMMER
64 players vs 24 players
Dedicated servers vs p2p shiz
DX11 beauty, ATi eyefinity/Nvidia 3D vision vs screen tearing 720p crap
It's apples and oranges with this one.
EDIT:
lol to the fail troll below. I play me PC through my TV in the lounge and keep my lappy for the net. It look awesome to have games running in max settings in 60 inch 180hz glory. Only tards think that PC gamers are glued to desks...
wrong post
Funny to see that you only gots one bub G
Meh... You never did anything to help us your grand fathers did, you like the rest of the good Ol US is just a dying leech attached to the nipple of it's former glory.
We are now worth more than you guys as well. Hope you enjoy you rotting economy and race riots wars in the next few years.
Except that the whole thing is just a theory and won't ever work in real life.
God yanks think they are the centre of the god damn world don't they lol.
Piracy is a global problem and the FBI is a US Dept. they have no power outside of the US. (unless you watch fox, then the FBI is saving the world every day)
Getting the FBI up in a stink will do a thing as the best hackers are from the EU and China.
Typical yank doesn't even know how to spell the name of his worst enemy.
On the flip side I would like to see a game where the US govt. are/is portrayed as the button pushing war mongers that they are................
FLAME ON LOL.
Thing is the PS3 version over here in AUSTRALIA will be $110 retail, but the Steam version on PC will be $49.99 day one or $44.99 pre-order. Damn straight that they should give us a free PC version for that price if I was getting the PS3 version.
Move support is a plus but not worth the extra $60 if you ask me. It may be different in the US but in AUSTRALIA we get butt raped for retail console games. Steam has been our savior.
I'll be sticking with me PC...

As for cloud support, WTF? we ha...
Come on guys leave LFD 1/2 where it is? It's like 2 and 3/4 years old now and as if you all haven't already played the shiz out of it???
I'm glad they are now supporting the PS3 but leave old sleeping dogs lie.
I agree STEAM FTW please...
I have ab old retail version but due to multi installs I have been locked out of my old soldier and it takes for ever to rank up. So unless they make a Steam version I am not going through the trouble of dealing with EA Support
Good game. Seriously worth getting (PC)
GOTY!? GTFOH.......
Worst wait/game ever.
Still not worth it lol.
The $6.60AU that or local Network Video for the overnight rental was not worth it, finished in 1 night and hated it. Shot some ghosts, found some coffee and some book pages and WTF! meh...
The DLC sure as hell isn't worth it either. More of the same with this game is not a good thing.
This just sounds like a way that M$/affiliate dealer can flog off its dead white whale of a game in the hope that some of the sucker...
Fallout NV anyone???
Single player PFS/RPG game that you can pour 300+ hours into it and still be finding new things to do.
There are plenty of good SP games out there, it's just that the MP games are getting better at catering to the MP crowd they are aimed at, thus these MP games would have less emphasis on the SP because the majority of the target audience isn't interested in it.
I would donate him a swift kick in the face.
Maybe even 2 seeing how generous I am feeling at the moment.
