Too many fanboys around here to get a serious question answered honestly. They all hide behind the disagree button because they have no response or intelligent rebuttal. Until the gaming community grows up, don't expect too much help around here...
That's not damage control, that is him speaking his opinion, but because so many Sony fanboys got all butt hurt he has to do the politically correct thing and clarify...
Yeah, when an x1 game looks better it's opinion. When a ps4 game looks better, it's a fact.
Seriously everyone, I read the article twice to make sure I wasn't going crazy, Titanfall isn't even in the article, it has nothing to do with what was said. Ps4's attach rate improved from Ps3 and X1 declined a little from x360, and Then it was mentioned that the X1 attach rate still higher than ps4. He went on to say how great both consoles are selling, and did not at elude to one console selling better than the other. So, yet another flame bait title to get people arguing...
Hmmmm, nowhere in that article does EA mention Titanfall or them wishing it wasn't exclusive. He mentions over and over how well each console is selling, and doesn't say anything about one console selling better than the other. Go ahead ps4 guys, hit the disagree button, that just tells me you didn't read the article, which was a earnings conference from EA's COO, so that's legit. Not some fluff prediction or opinion.
Great use of your bubble...
Back on topic, I can't wait for this game. I hope they pull it off.
@hicken, in some cases Microsoft pays for it, and absolutely in some cases Sony does too. In some cases Microsoft doesn't, and same for Sony. That argument goes both ways.
@zod, I see the point you're trying to make, but an *opinion* article where one or two developers had a bad experience with Microsoft and then had a good experience with Sony does not tell the whole story. Not to mention, who the heck are those guys that spoke out against Microsoft anyways? LOL...
Does a first time indie really expect star treatment? Do indies really think their won't be a lot of paperwork and red tape to get their game out regardless of who they develop ...
Edit: forget it...
Oh wow, if you start playing games in slow motion this will be a huge win for ps4. Otherwise, looked better graphically on x1.
Long-term exclusivity for PS4 games = good, Devs can spend more time on them.
Long-term exclusivity for X1 games = bad, Microsoft is greedy and it's bad for the community.
Where's the love for x1 owners?
I think Microsoft built a great next Gen system that is very capable and the Devs Would have been happy with it, BUT, Sony blew it out of the water, speaking specs only. The specs aren't arguable anymore. I could see how the difference would cause frustration for developers.
It matters if you want the "superior" machine, in this case superior means higher FPS and resolution. But that won't always be the deciding factor, games will make a difference, both platforms will offer stunning graphics and great to xclusives.
Microsoft invested so much in integrating kinect on the x1, it better do some amazing stuff real quick to capture that audience... Otherwise, the uninformed person or even family man that's "on the fence...
But but but but but but.... The ps4 is perfect in every way. Even time a ps4 is purchased, an angel gets its wings... JK
Don't quit your day job, telling stories ain't your thang.
There's no food in North Korea... So...
Ps4 is outselling X1, but you're like a Ps4 propaganda machine! You're so passionate about sales and reading the future.... Anyways, long live GAMING whether it's ps4, x1 or PC.
@Sammy, it's not over until it's over. Ps4 may "win", whatever that means for one console to "win" over another. And if by lose, you mean Microsoft only sells 80million consoles like last generation, then who is the loser? LOL... Anyways, your comment was very ignorant.
I've got an X1, some great launch titles, have been very entertained, and even if Microsoft doesn't sell a single other console, I still got millions of other people to game with. I won the "console war", and so did the individual that bought a ps4 and is satisfied with their purchase.
DONE AND DONE...
