I think it's cool that the vita can play all Final Fantasy games from 1 through to 10. And MGS1,2,3, MGS:PW, portable ops and MG1 & MG2. As a PSone fan it's great to have that library portable.
Especially the sequel.
Considering the content of GZ is different to what's in the full game, it's much like any other DLC. Good luck explaining that to the drama queens though.
For those harping on about the price, it doesn't factor in to whether it's a demo or DLC, all that means is that it's overpriced DLC. I personally played if for 17 hours and had a lot of fun with it.
It's naive for you to think putting a list of all games together (nearly 50,000) isn't impressive, regardless of how much he used Wikipedia. Why don't you try it and see how far you get? It's not just a matter of copying and pasting, he has to look for errors and double ups. Trying to make it accurate would be an incredibly tedious task.
Awesome sale!! I bought Jurassic Park, Sam & Max, World Gone Sour, Tales of Monkey Island, Braid, Echochrome, Tokyo Jungle and Red Faction 2, all for $8. I would have bought the PS One games for that price too if I didn't already own them.
That's a typo.
Even if the PS4 was less powerful and more expensive I would still prefer it because of the types of games Sony Publishes, there are so many games from them I like and wouldn't want to miss out on their future titles. I'm really curious to see what Sony Bend is working on.
Australia! I want to drive on the left side of the road for a change.
I don't understand why anybody would enjoy navigating that badly designed maze of a city, crashing into hovercrafts every 10 seconds. Jak and Daxter 1 had better level design, platforming, music.
Plenty of new IPs get "hype", look at Titanfall. MGR:R was a spinoff with an unpopular character, DMC is a reboot where they changed the design and story, and Sly is a series that's been dormant for a long time. They are a few of the reasons why they were underrated.
Her main reason for calling it the worst is that it's likely to be released on the PS4. Why do people get upset when an older game gets released on a new platform? Nobody's forcing her to buy it. I have the Crash and Jak trilogies on my PS3, would she have a problem with that too?
Their best games for me are TLOU, Jak & Daxter 1 & the Uncharted Series. Jak 2 had a painful GTA style open world and the environments were bland, I didn't like the R&C shooting mechanics either. Jak 3 continued in that direction but was less tedious.
The worst kind of fanboyism is the hating of other platforms. There's nothing wrong with liking/preferring a console/pc, it's just really obnoxious when these kids get on and hate consoles or exclusive games they don't have.
Developers have always been confined to hardware limitations on all platforms. Why would anyone think PS4/Xbox one is different?
There are so many games that get tired and repetitive, MGS is one of the few that really tries to pushes innovation and it's not like they are released that often.
MGS didn't get a "free ride" at all, this guy is talking nonsense. The main problem people had was the pricing. The game itself was a lot of fun.
I think it's worth $20. They shouldn't have charged more for next gen or hard copies. I ended up playing 14 hours on normal and 3 on hard and really enjoyed it. But length of a game doesn't mean much to me, I have lots of games to play so being shorter is a plus in my book, they just shouldn't overcharge for it.
It's worth the $20 you pay if you get it as a digital download on the previous gen. I can't speak for next gen or if you get a hard copy. It's basically like a stand alone DLC released before the game. I enjoyed it a lot.
I would be very happy to get Sly.
You can't play them?
