It's alright liking a platform, it's the hating that gets annoying.
It was fine when 360 was the "preferred console", now he's upset that the ps4 is more popular. That's pretty much what I got from this article.
I bought Lego Marvel for $10.50 on the US store last week.
I did the same. I bought it before I got a ps4, so I could play ps3 games with it.
That's good to hear, I'd hate to have $4000 worth of games wiped out.
I've let mine lapse in the past too, but they changed the policy recently and they're not clear about it in the fine print. It would be nice if they came out and said definitively that you will get your games back when you renew. It is a concern as I have a lot of games to lose.
Do they really have to make up stories? Remember Parasite Eve 1-2, Fear Effect 1-2, Dino Crisis 1-3, Resident Evil 3, Tomb Raider series? They were all back on PSone, and many more. This idea that we're coming out of a dark age of gaming is nonsense.
I imagine this is a joke in reference to the whole assassins creed thing.
I play my vita all the time, don't have a ps4.
No offense, but if this was real, they would have made a better logo reveal.
I agree, had the best levels in the series and the best mix of stealth and action.
I played the original trilogy on PSN recently, I still love SF2 (one of my all time favourite games) but I think SF3 is much weaker. And the PSP games are great, the worst thing about them is that they're on the PSP and control awkwardly.
Ripping your own PS2 games to play on PC at a higher resolution sounds like a huge waste of time to me. But don't kid yourself, 99.9% of emulation is for piracy.
I really hope Sony Bend is working on Syphon Filter for PS4. The name Kill Strain would make sense for that. Also, playing as Francis in Uncharted would be amazing. All of these rumors sound too good.
Don't care. I don't even think they should give away a retail release game when it launches, it's crazy. They are better off giving indies and older games that aren't selling well anymore. We pay $5 a month and get about 4-5 games every month. You're paying $1-$1.25 per game, it doesn't make any sense at all for them to give you a full $60 game on release. It's amazing that people are complaining about it at all.
Good graphics are important in making a good game, just like good music, gameplay, animation etc. Good graphics doesn't just mean 'realistic', it's about the art style, design. If a game is badly designed visually, than it's going to impact on the gameplay.
I have the same problem, no time for it. I think if I didn't get any more games for the next 5 years, I wouldn't get through the library of games I've got. I don't understand why anybody would complain about the price of games.
There are way more cheap options now, if you stick to games that are older than 6 months you can get those AAA games cheap. I have a library of hundreds of digital games and I didn't spend much money at all.
I don't care what price they charge on release, if people are willing to pay it and they make more money, then great. I usually wait til games drop to below $20, mostly digital games these days. And with PS Plus, I've got plenty to keep me busy.
I only just got mine a couple of weeks ago. I already had about 14 games from ps plus lined up and I bought a couple of retail games too. Really enjoying local co-op with Towerfall and Resogun, remote playing Lego Marvel and Mercenary Kings, and playing Blacklight online. Overall, it's been a lot of fun, so no complaints from me.
