Yes of course you are gonna be able to play mass effect and bioshock without the hdd. But Crysis are above those games in graffic and the pc version will without a doubt have installment to be able to handle this game, wich the 360 version can´t have. The 360 needs the pricecut to boost the sales of the coming games this fall, if they can afford it. But it´s microsoft, they could give the 360 for free and still have money over =)
For 360 or ps3 or both?
The ps3 is cheaper if u want hd player, wifi and free online, if u want the cheapest console with no ad ons then it´s 1. wii 2. xbox360 3. ps3.
If you count in the wifi the diffrence is even bigger.. (Ps3=499), (Xbox360=399+179(hddvd)+100(wi fi)=678). And then the ps3 has 40gb more in space. But this is if u want it all, theres realy no choice with the ps3, but it´s alot cheaper if you do want it all, 179 cheaper to be precise. I forgot about the free online, sothats another 50 a year. So it´s ps3=499 and xbox360=728, wich makes the diffrence 227 dollars.
And yes the ps3 is region free, you can play an american game on european console..

No one buys any game for the wii, 90% of the people who bought the wii are non gamers who thinks it´s fun for a couple of months. Then it will collect dust untill theres a party and they take it out to play wii sports just to put it away in oblivion again..

This is just my oppinion, but i realy hate the wii. I cant realy put my finger on why, i think it has to do with that its made for casual people and not gamers. Im probably gonna end up buying one any way, but it´s my girlfriend who will force me. I guess i could enjoy marioparty and zelda.. If they only put a little more power in the wii, like the 360 power with the wiimote. Then it could have some nice graf and be realy good, or the ps3 power in it would be even greater =)
