For me, collector's edition = game, art book, replica of important item/character from game, extra content, extra special packaging, making of/behind the scenes dvds, sound track.
Limited editions = everything above, except replica.

I have a month long winter break from college when SWTOR comes out....smooth move, in my mind.

Kind of interesting, but I wouldn't know how cheesy it is until they actually start doing things.
I'm a person who doesn't care about 60FPS, I max out my games even if it runs at 40 or 30FPS. As long as it's playable for me, it's all I need really (although it's unlikely I'll be running anything lower than 50FPS in this game).
But yeah I'm definitely going to hold off on my purchase, gonna wait until things work out, get other games in the meantime
PS3 version seems slightly blurrier, although in most shots both look pretty much the same.

The fact that DICE decided to have Operation Metro as the beta map on all 3 platforms kind of confuses me. I mean, a lot of people are going to judge the game through the beta, and a lot of people will try to see if their preorders are worth it through the beta, so why pick the worst possible map you can, that is not even a close representation of what Battlefield's all about? Really.

I agree. Over saturation is definitely a problem, however due to the saturation of Call of Duty, it's also causing a "me too!" side effect with a lot of other games. Trying to be like COD, topple COD's popularity, etc. Publishers want to make the kind of money Activision makes with Call of Duty, and so they make games that are similar whether in gameplay, story, or game direction (arcadey pick up and play type).

This makes me want to play as a bounty hunter. Seems like they're a heavy kiting class in PvP against lightsaber wielding opponents.
