I simply still use my PS3 for all media.
I don't know how some people claim the Xbox360 supports the same files as PS3. I have tried tirelessly with no success.
I don't run Windows8 yet, so this is not use to me.
From the looks of it, they almost could've added the buttons AND had the touchpad.
I don't think the buttons will add nearly what it taken away now that they've drop the touchpad.

As someone who did numerous, if not countless, thermal paste repairs back in the RROD-era, this is something I have ZERO desire in continuing to do.
These "small-time maintenance[s]" are often finicky, and require re-do's, sometimes often.
You'd have to consider hardware repair as a whole seper...
I'm undoubtedly going to get disagrees for this, but I just don't see how they're gonna pull this off - when they have to maintain the fact that Ellie hasn't learned to shoot, and she hasn't killed someone - yet.

I went with the 1TB SSHD (seagate) it was $108 on Amazon, when I got it a month ago.
I can't justify spending close to that of the console just to go SSD, AND then be left with lower space capacity.
Most the analysis put the SSHD performance inbetween the standard HHD and the higher performing SSD.
So my choice was between more-space+some-speed, or more-speed+less-space. I chose more space, and more speed.
You know a game is a MUSTBUY when you lose interest in checking out the footage before release

I'm an Xbox guy that's made the switch over to Playstation, and I must say trophies are x10 better than achievements.
Because with achievements all you'd get is a % for progress. (and gamerscore varies from 5-100G)
With trophies you get to see the tally, and see how many are silver, gold, and the platinum.
I never cared for gathering gamerscore, but now i've become a trophy hunter for platinum.
