I don't get it! Everyone figures we're suppose to stop talking about how good/bad Titanfall is?
We've been hating on Call of Duty for years now - and rightfully so....
then Titanfall comes along and offers a even less robust Multiplayer features, and without singleplayer, and we're supposed to just roll over and accept it as a critical success?
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game.
But we are most definitely loweri...
But the thing is it's in direct competition with other highly established FPS franchises that are equally as "tightly balanced, extremely fast paced, intuitive and fun" (subjectively)
And they all have droves of more MP content AND offer SP+MP.
And all those extra weapons, extra gamemodes, and features - are what make those games fun either. But it's what we've come to expect from competitive MP FPSs.
I've played it - it's fun.
But does that really make up for what we've grown accustom to, coming from SP-games' MP?
Player customization, numerous weapons, clans/private matches, ect.
It being fun has seemed to appeased people enough that we don't criticize it for being a extremely bare boned, for being the same price as (SP+MP) games that offer far more.
I think some people have totally forgone their standards.
Compare Titanfall to COD:Ghosts.
Same number of MP maps, where as TF is MP-dedicated and COD has a SP campaign.
COD has x10 more guns, and infinitely more player customization.
It has far more gamemodes, private matches, and clans.
For a MP+SP game, COD has far far more MP content than TF - A MULTIPLAYER DEDICATED GAME.
For a game to c...
Agreed on both
Yeah, that's precisely what a good looking trailer does - alleviates our worries about visual downgrades.
The smoke does look damn pretty though
@gozer
I don't need article to tell me which is more powerful - I have both consoles with some 3rd party titles on both.
I've seen it
Any tips for those of us that aspire to acquiring that illusive platinum?
Why is Titanfall Season Pass $28.75, with 10% off???
I thought it was priced at $24.99? (ign source: http://ca.ign.com/articles/...

"Crysis 3 – Ultimate Bundle"
What if we just want the regular version?
Wasn't Crysis 3 on-sale a few months ago for $5..... (regretting not buying it atm)
I want to believe they're only for PS3, cause I went and bought NFS:R PS4 today.

Funny ;)
I can't pick worst.. cause I liked both Ryse, and Knack.
Actually the game I probably disliked the most (due to not getting into it depsite loving zombies) is Dead Rising 3. IMO, the performance just wasn't there.
But won't publisher want to target as many regions as possible?
sell it to as many people who will buy it
Can anyone explain to me why certain regions get different games? (releases, not PS+)
Like why hasn't North America seen War Thunder yet?
I'm just left wondering why the devs, when fully knowing their new franchise would be in direct competition to the 'big names' in FPS, why they would leave TF with so little features, weapons, and customization.
I think they knew full well that they weren't going to be championing the competitive realm either - so cutting down on those things for strictly balancing does not seem to make sense.
I hate to compare the game to Call of Duty, becaus...
