This is very true.
All my friends are completely undecided about which console to make primary for next-gen.
We're all xbox this gen (tho many of us had ps3/pc)
but atm we're having serious doubts about MS direction with the 720. And beginning to think Sony, in the midst of their finacial troubles, might actually be more invested in this gen than MS, despite their money.
We'll have to see, but as an xbox fan (and PC) I'...
lmao. well don't you just know everything
This xbot is waiting to jump until the ship is sunk. (ie an official announcement affirms all this kinect2.0 focus, no used games, always-online, ect)
Wait? So, this wasn't an April Fools joke?
I know! The "link" is not real.
I KNEW there was more behind this entire console-war!!!
It's bedroom-envy!!
Mwahahaha /sarcasm ;)
Com'on!
The Lego series and TFU series aren't their best work... (worst, imo, in fact)
huh, thanks!
:S I didn't know it had released!
I'm with ya!
I have faith in big companies, like disney, ability to make money - or know what they're doing..
I also have enormous faith that there is lots n lots of money in Star Wars games. (despite their recent record)
Here's to hoping this isn't the last we hear about 1313 and Assault.
Thanks for clearifying.
"But that was LucasArts, so why would they close them just to hire a new studio to continue making Star Wars games?"
Because they don't want to "hire" the studios - they want the studios to take the risk themselves.. Greedy, sure.
But won't this give the studios more freedom in their development?
A licenced Star wars game could potentially be much better than anythin...
*weeps*
PS, after reading the article (briefly) it appears that what they've done has merely shifted all future games to be externally developed (aka licenced) rather than internally developed. (which takes the risks out of disneys hands, and into those making the games)
Correct me if im wrong, isn't this a good thing? (besides the current project being cancelled)
Placing the responsibility on those actually in charge of releasing the fin...
This is great news. My Wii U is dying for something (that interests me) to play. Also works out well cause Deus Ex was a game i skipped at its' launch (because of Dead Island/GoW3 ??)
It's funny how I'm more than willing to look at buying a game, that I haven't (even on sale on steam for real cheap), yet kinda get excited to have a game for my Wii U.
My Wii U is dying for a reason not to be on craigslist :P (oh wait, it is...)
...
I feel ya, I get way too many "must haves" to know what to do with. (and rarely have enough time for them all)
Worst of all, is when a new release has me dying to re-play an older game.
I started playing Far Cry 3, loved the (albiet short) crafting system -- so I went back to put another 50+hrs into Skyrim.
I started playing Bioshock Infinite, didn't like how forced all the action was (lack of stealth) -- so I'm currently replaying ...
How dare you make A LIST into 10 PAGES!!!
I hate sites that do this!
Same here!
I'll likley sell mine over the summer..
You have to recognize that this is a doomed-mentality, right?
You can't have a COMPANY be able to "survive" on it's own.
There's a little thing that CONSUMERS greatly benefit from - it's called competition.
Nintendo can't do wihtout it!!! (As a company, and nor should consumers want them to)
Nintendo, and it's fans, are outright lying or foolish in ever saying "we don't conc...
If they didn't need hardcore gamers, then why did they launch boasting ZombiU, Assassin's Creed, Batman, and Black Ops II?
(which was a lousy lineup, btw, I personally regret buying my Wii U considering how litte use it's gotten, and how many game (and only more to come) that are skipping it)
I feel inclined to point out that for many PC games cross game chat is achieved via 3rd-party programs - where as on Xbox it's a built-in feature.
(what SJPFTW said)
"you get what you pay for" (just my opinion)
... you take pride in fanboyism?...
