You are sooooooo right!!
I'm admittedly primarily an Xbox fan. But, man!! XBL Games on Demand is an absolutely f#$%ing disgrace... I've been buying all digital on PSN for a while now.
I gave MS some slack for it being the end of the generation, but I do have a hard time seeing their "all digital world" when they so far behind in it already!
I've heard the arguments as to why MS is trying to not "upset retailers&qu...
It's really thier only option. They'll lose even more support (I know - how? - right?) if they start back pedalling their policies.
They do need to start educating people on the actual BENEFITS of what their trying to sell us. As well as make up for the restriction with extras bundled in-box. (free games, year subcr, ect)
The way I see it is, one is going after the business, and the other is taking the easy route.
Sony is just staying quite so that they can reap all the ship-jumpers who are reluctant about moving into an all digital world. Microsoft is planning for the future - whether you like it or not - it's really just a matter of whether you want to be part of it!
People will understand once they let go of their disc-based mindset.
And once you do, yo...
Actually read it.
Both.
Is that seriously your rebuttal?
"What if I'm on a vacation to Jupiter?"
@DragonKnight
Microsoft knows that we primarily play mulitplayer.
And being able to share a multliplayer game with 10 people, far distances apart, all in the same day makes the connection worth while.
Not to mention, the connection may be able to be done via a smartphone using SmartGlass with an e-mail amount of data. (for ...

I think Peter is being very sensical
At least they're trying.
The end was epic!
Xbox One won't upload data without "explicit permission" by the user.
"Explicit permission" - as in you explicitly have us permission to do so when you bought our product and agreed to the XBL terms of service... That kind of "explicit permission"??????
Hurry up and come out already!!!
Beavis and butthead in the same thread!! (See comment #3)
I'm sure they currently have.
good point MestreRoth
I also am still believing that the risks MS are taking, evident in the bad PR, is going to work out (for everybody) in the end.
BUT, multiplat games looking better on the PS4 IS NOT something "I can live with."
The only reason I remain loyal to MS is cause I still think they have a good chance of obtaining 3rd-party dominance. But if that changes, as it clearly currently is, I will jump to which ever system has it.
Plus, i'...
hahahaa
The Crytek guys seemed very adamant in saying that the combat isn't QTEs, they were finishing combos that the player can customize. OK, we'll see..
I think they could've done a lot to make the game seem more interactive, and more like an actual game.
They should have had a some sort of HUD, have the player equip his shield, once on the beach have the player choose one of two weapons on the ground, show some XP earned, show a death sequence, demonstrate ...
His site is overwhelmed with activity....
so what's the damaging info already...
Is that all you Sony fans EVER have to say about those who support MS?
That MS must be paying for it...
Not trying to defend the article, but you make Sony fans look bad..
