I hope Project Fantasy is exclusive to Xbox and more games become exclusive to Xbox in the next few years as it might get Sony to become a 3rd party publisher and release all their 1st party games on Future Xbox consoles.

Hope this means that they will not be accepting anymore of Sony's Cheques for temporary exclusives anymore and start treating the rest of the gaming community with respect and release all their games on Xbox Day 1.
Also according to several journalists on twitter this deal means all SE releases on Xbox will be Day 1 gamepass too. Which i hope it true as thanks to gamepass i don't really lik...
Again if you believe MS will keep every Activision game multi then your living in a dream world. In the court case the contracts that MS got other companies to sign have a get out clause for MS if they deem having Activision games on other services is not making a certain aount of profit which wasn't mentioned then they could cancel the contract easily. MS aren't afraid to take a major dent financially if it meant them making money later.

MS will still be in 3rd place in consoles though. Activision is not going to help MS outsell Playstation consoles or even Nintendo.
I guess since some Xbox fans want MS to buy Activision so badly and champion consolidation. If Sony decided they wanted to buy Square Enix and Capcom and who ever else they could afford then these same fans wouldn't object to it happening right? I mean if MS can buy whoever they want then Sony or even Tencent or Amazon buying up studios/publishers if perfectly fine too.
Good hopefully Greenberg and Phil Spencer will be next. I love Xbox but Nelson, Greenberg and Spencer have been nothing but an embarrassment for gaming as a whole.
If this does go true then no one even Xbox fans can attack Sony if they decide to buy up more Devs or make more deals for 3rd party exclusives. Heck even with Activision being owned by MS i still don't see them moving from 3rd place in the gaming industry. They will always be behind Nintendo (1st place) and Sony (2nd place).

They did it was one of Phil Spencer's ideas and MS were going to do it unless the CMA back down and let MS buy whoever they want and now the floodgates are open so expect MS to continue to buy more publishers and devs. I can easily and i hope to see Sony going under in the next 5 years and becoming a 3rd party publisher and putting all their games on Xbox.
So the CMA caved? I guess MS saying that they will pull out of the UK unless the CMA lets them do what they want worked. Now i wonder what MS next purchase will be? I hope Square Enix is next as i would love to see FF17 exclusive to Xbox,
All they need to do is keep buying up enough devs 60--70 studios is the sweet spot and also lobby politicians to stop Sony from buying anymore studios and gamers win.
MS should close the deal asap and as soon as it is then immediately announce that all Activision games are going exclusive and COD will no longer be on Playstation. Yes MS will have to break any contracts with Sony but all that will happen is MS will end up paying a fine for breaching contract which would cost next to nothing to them.
After Activision MS hopefully will buy Square Enix, Capcom, Ubisoft and perhaps EA or Take 2 before stopping purchases.
Gamepass is a rental service and i stopped buying games on Xbox around 4 years ago since MS is more than happy to pay devs for the loss of game sales on Xbox.
Every single person i have on my friends list on Xbox and (i have over 200 friends on my friends list) the majority of them have gamepass and not 1 of them ever buys a game on Xbox these days and i don't see why any gamer who has Gamepass would spend money to buy a game when they can play those games for far cheap...
MS pays devs/publishers for every game added to gamepass to make up for the loss of sales since Gamepass leads to less game sales on Xbox consoles (MS themselves have confirmed this in court documents/E-mails).
Heck even i have stopped buying games (around 4 years ago) on Xbox now that MS pays to have games added to the service. Why would anyone buy games on Xbox when MS is footing the bill for us gamers.
But the amount of money that MS pays to have all these games...

wccftech made a mistake the visual modes details mentioned on insider-gaming.com are not for Spider-Man 2 but for Spider-Man Remastered before it launched and doesn't include the modes that were added after launch.
