That screenshot confirms my fear. The graphics are worse than RoTR and Lara's "semi-military" design looks too generic compared to her survival looks from the past 2 games.
Really hoping that's not the final product.
BOI That's amazing!
This is an indie game, and with a price tag of $30. At that price point, no surprise at all that this game won't get any AAA quality treatment. However, the game still looks fun to play, although it will most likely won't achieve a blockbuster hit like Cuphead.
And considering the history of very rough release of the original game and crappy remaster on PC, I think I will wait until the game is at half-price or at least $20 with the game fully patched.

This is what I like from Sony's studios. They take risks. Experiencing with new formulas and concept. Rather than just playing it safe and predictable. Yes, I'm talking about Microsoft's exclusives so far that offered nothing more than just new entry of old IP with some eye candy upgrades, and sadly, none of them looks as astonishing as Horizon, Uncharted 4 or God of war.

Microsoft may be bigger in terms of company size, but up until now only Sony and Nintendo have true games that people will actually love and remember.
Exactly! I love every unique features of Far Cry 2. And I've never seen these on any other recent AAA game.
Realistic fire on grass/trees, Buddy systems, how you must take Malaria drug every now and then, Degrading weapons, Currency treated as collectibles where you have to hunt for them (rough diamonds). It really feels like a survival game.
But there's one big downside of this game for me.
The fast travel systems and the world is too big.
With Final Fantasy XV, Ni No Kuni 2, and now this, the wait for Monster Hunter World on PC is so much bearable now for me.

Because I'm running the game on i5 6400, 1060, on 1080p high settings, NVIDIA gameworks off, 4k textures on, stable 55-60 fps. Sometimes drops to around 40 at combat, but no big deal. Way lot better fps than any Xbox mode.
Just play it on PC, the Enhanced Edition has better lighting, textures, and it has Ubersampling option, which not so heavy for recent midrange GPUs.
Edit: And glorious 60+ fps
Thar would make a lot more sense. I mean, MS could ressurect popular IPs like Army of Two, Dead Space, Dante's Inferno, Syndicate.
Great decision. Operations servers are always full now. Love it. Operations is the best mode to farm new weapon unlocks.
