because Sony says so
It's the gun... Their gun is way too powerful. I mean how the f*ck can you snipe with a machine gun?? When I picked up a SVER gun, I was killing people with 1-2 bullets opposed to about 5-7 bullets with my Valor gun...
IW, take some notes here. You guys might learn something new...
EA: "No comment"
in other words, it's coming to PS3
Bought the mini version for my PSPgo. I was kinda disappointed that it doesn't work with my PS3 as other mini titles work with PS3...
Maybe this is the reason that mini version of Tetris won't work with PS3...
Look at Resistance Fall of Man and Warhawk, the servers are still up and running strong.
Damn, if they get 1 tv spot during the Super Bowl and spam other channels with GoW3 ads like they did with Uncharted 2, we can expect huge day 1 sale numbers. Now that Sony is making profit, we should expect much better advertising in the future(I'm talking Microsoft-type advertising).
I really love the graphics. The only gripe that I have is the catcher's gear. They look too big for the catcher, gotta make it small and look tighter.
Huh, what about us deaf people??? I will be really pissed that I won't be able to play a game that I paid for because I can't communicate with a mic.
I still do better than most of the people on my team, sometimes I am the only one going after the objectives while people just kill the enemies.
Damn, one can only wonder what Sony will do with Gran Turismo 5's marketing o.O
I would say that it will be bigger than GoW3 since its Sony's flagship title.
but the game will be still sh*tty on both platform.
ex. SOCOM Confrontation, hell even the menu system is laggy as well.
If its going to be on Xbox 360 then obviously not Zipper since Sony owns Zipper... >.>
Oh and if I were you, I wouldn't be looking forward to Battlefront judging on how buggy SOCOM: Confrontation was/is. Don't get me wrong, I loved Confrontation but I gotta admit, that game is glitchy like a motherf*cker and had one of the worst launch in history.
And because of my avatar, you may be thinking I'm trying to stealth troll. Well think again, http://n4g.com/NewsCom-4634...
I don't know if I will get it on PS3 because I have the standalone disc for Xbox 360. However, I don't feel right playing it on my 360 since I've always played GTA on a Playstation platform. If I do end up getting it for PS3, it will be because I rather play GTA on PS3
This is what I think it is:
Devs usually use dedicated servers when their online portion of the game supports a large amount of players. It's easy to do P2P with 12-16 players which is the case with most multi-platform. However, just about all PS3 exclusives support at least 32 players online. It would be laggy as hell trying to play 32 player online games using P2P connection. It makes more sense to host dedicated servers for games with 24 or more players than to use P2P.
Thanks for adding more to my comment to show my point.
For doing that, you win a...
Modern Warfare 2:
18 player online
P2P servers
alright graphics
glitchfest
Killzone 2:
32 player online
dedicated servers
stunning graphics
minimal glitches
I think I'll go with Killzone 2.
Guys, if you haven't played the actual game(I'm not talking about beta) then please do not try to trash the game.
The final game is superior in every way compared to the beta. It's pretty sad how MW2 gets 9's across the board even though it's one of the glitchiest and laggiest game released this generation while MAG has virtually no lag and minimal glitches...
Ugh, SVER... lol
Last night, or shall I say earlier this morning, we(Valor) played couple of games against SVER in sabotage and lost... The battles were INTENSE and it came down to the final second of the game for each battle we had against SVER in Sabotage.
I was debating with my friend that we should move over to SVER because SVER dominated in the beta plus we have the SVER character from GameStop...
Beginning of 2009, I kept telling everyone that PS3 will outsell 360 by at least 2 million and guess what, I was right! Now, I'm telling you, PS3 will outsell 360 at least by 4 million for 2010.
