I'm not going to come right out and call N.L an out and out liar, but completing the SP in 3.75 hrs on Normal, while in his own words, dying lots, and shooting everyone, essentially not just powering through, is implausible at best.

For the record, my biggest issue with the SP is the care and cleverness that went into writing for Stahl as opposed to the writing for Sev-which was moronic at best.

Why is it wrong for consumers, who plan to lay down money for a product, to complain about a development cycle? Frankly I'm tired of sycophants who blindly praise corporations who ultimately care nothing for them.
There is actually very little to complain about when it comes to Nintendo; however, the Zelda development team is the exception. They have clearly failed their fanbase,as well as Nintendo the corporation.
In all honesty,I have only played about an hour of Stacking and I am not a fan of DoubleFine. With Stacking it seems like more of the same indulgent, contrived tone combined with the unfulfilling gameplay of Schafer's other titles.
I will put more time into it because, hell, I got it for free as a Playstation Plus subscriber, but Schafer really is the quintessential overrated game dev darling of SOME sites.

Been playing BC2 for a few months now and no issues with lag for me. The article makes some decent points but fails slightly in that he's assuming that the servers will definitely fail.
The last paragraph comes across as a bit of a troll in that the tone loses some professionalism and takes on a fanboyish flavour.

MoH wasn't terrible, and frankly I'm still playing it. on the PSN it's the same though, about 4-5k players a night.

The game's limitation mechanic was a pulsing steaming pile and a fuck you to fans. As if Samus would listen to her schoolgirl crush when it came to whether she could fire missiles. THis game is an abomination to the canon.

I agree with some of what he wrote but generally this is a very weak article. I hate to break it to him but the 360 and the PS3 have quite a few more years in their cycles. And Nintendo ALWAYS trails graphically. They just don't care about polygons.
A new Ninty console is due, I agree, but the article's trolling of the PS3 and the 360 is weaksauce.
I kind of agree with this, Dead Space 2 was worth 3 playthroughs for me, on PS3 of course lol, but the MP was not my cup of tea, thus the game is very replayable, and that has nothing to do with the MP.
