Basically they dumbed it down then. Nice.
"None of the games you mentioned are first party.
Those aren´t even exclusive.
In case you didn´t notice, Fable is an first party RPG among many others in development at XGS."
And where in your original post did you mention first party? Regardless of exclusivity, none of the games I mentioned - some of the biggest RPGs around - are on Xbox but you seem to think Xbox is home of the RPG. You have Starfield and...oh, Fa...
@SPEAKxTHExTRUTH
Each to their own but I disagree. As I said in my post to Ynubo, I want my games to FEEL like PS5 games when I'm playing them, remote play or otherwise, so to me that is very much the appeal of the Portal. Our PS5 is on the TV in our living room and when my girlfriend is watching TV I can use the Portal to stil play PS5 games with perfect controls. That is the appeal to me. I know it's nothing but a streaming device but having essentially the same c...
@Ynubo yeah I know what Portal is, I know its limitations and it still should offer a better experience for my PS5 than the Deck does. Not knocking the deck at all - I absolutely love it and I use mine a ton. But when I'm playing PS5 games I want it to FEEL like I'm playing PS5 games, and I don't get that from the Steam Deck. As good as the controls are for the Deck, the rumble is so weak it might as well not even be there, and there's no adaptive triggers. The Portal offers p...
😂
Absolutely. I loved FF7 Remake and I've been playing the hell out of FFXVI and BG3 on my Xbox and I can't wait for FF7 Rebirth next February!
Oh hang on, none of them are on xbox are they?
House of the RPG indeed.
I've got a steam deck as well, but the appeal of the Portal is the Dualsense support.
I know I'm not in Japan, but whatever, got mine pre ordered. Or rather, my girlfriend has pre ordered me one for Christmas.
People just ought not to be so sensitive. Gaming is a hobby. It's fine to side with one brand or another - for example I love Samsung phones, and I can't stand Apple, but I have plenty of friends that have iPhones, and we do have banter from time time. We take nothing seriously.
Gaming is supposed to be fun, and that includes the banter that goes along with having one format or another.
Sometimes people just need to chill out a bit.
Some people do take it too seriously. For others, it's just a bit of fun.
My PS5 gets a ton of use, as does my Steam Deck.
I used to have a gaming PC (laptop), but once it died I never replaced it. I don't count my Deck as a gaming PC, but it's perfect for my Steam library.
Ah, you must be an Xbox fan then. Commiserations.
I was actually joking, even if that joke was laced with truth.
Yeah, only he didn't though.
Yeah but we live in an age where everybody is a winner, there are no losers.
If you didn't come first in that race, it doesn't matter because you took part and you're still a winner.
It bloody well does matter. That's the very heart of competition; to win. It spurs people on, to make you the best you can be. I'm the same as you, I don't go for all this "we're all winners" shite. It's like they think we all need t...
Don't back the losing horse then 😉
I agree, the console war is stupid.
After all, we all know PlayStation decimate Xbox. It's no war, it's a massacre.
Can guarantee they'll be circling like vultures
But I don't want Starfield. Mind you, I don't want a Series X either.
Nice. I wanted to give Callisto Protocol a go
I'm going to suggest Aloy. I thought Horizon Forbidden West was a great game but by the end of it I really disliked Aloy. Her constant sighing and snarky attitude really grated on me by the end.
I hope, if there is ever a third game, they get rid of Aloy and introduce a new, more likeable character without the constant attitude.
