Same. My PS+ expired a couple of weeks back and I haven't renewed and have no intention of doing so. I only really used it for the odd game of GT7 and Quake 2 online but that's about it.

Maybe their focus was to get it out on PC and PS5 first, since it seems they were further in development. Especially the PC version since it was in early access for quite a while.
As for the Xbox consoles, remember until recently there had to be parity between SX and SS consoles, and it seemed that Larian just couldn't get the same experience on SS without dropping split screen and making some other graphical concessions. This is what held the game up as they couldn'...
It's funny you say that, but when developers do similar things to get a port of a game onto the Switch it's seen as a win, so why can't the same thing be said when a game is ported to SS? Of course there were going to be downgrades here and there, but content wise it's the same game as on PC and PS5. Let's be honest, who is really going to miss split screen? I've yet to come across anyone whose made use of this on PC or PS5.
I'm definitely looking forward to Rebirth and have it pre ordered. From their showing at TGS, it looks like it's got a lot of depth. I just hope they can fix the choppy framerate, it seemed a little unstable, like FFXVI.
I also agree with you on BG3. Definitely my GOTY too, but I also agree that it should have had a physical release for PS5. I hear there are rumours that one is on the way though.

I really like the look of what I've seen of this game. Will be picking it up soon for PS5. It seems like it's definitely worth It's £45 price tag.
Does anyone *need* one? I don't, just like I don't need a Playdate, Steam Deck or Evercade EXP, but I wanted them so I got them.
Must admit at first I thought it was really ugly, but it's grown on me. I wouldn't say it's a pretty thing but I really don't see how they could have designed it any differently tbh, given that they wanted to have the feel of using a DualSense.
