I played a little of the beta. Seems like a good MMO, but with Diablo III coming out in two weeks, I don't have the time to commit.
It was only a matter of time...
I don't think they really promised open-endedness. They promised that the game would tailor itself around how you play. So far, the differences have been pretty subtle, but I can understand why. Some things in the game's plot are important or canon and need to happen. Otherwise, the narrative structure of the game would just be incomprehensible.
Hopefully, some of the smaller decisions will become more significant in future episodes.
I tried Rock Band Blitz at PAX. It was...ok.
I love stealth games, so I might have to do some research into Mark of the Ninja!
I would've been all over it. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays and survival horror is one of my favorite genres. :)
This is pretty much the only game I've ever considered borrowing my parents Wii to play. Well, this and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
My favorite is the guy cosplaying as Vincent.
I would also add "and how to hurl your game controller at the wall with lethal force."
What a great accomplishment for Tim Schafer and his team. I can't wait to see the new game!
This game looks interesting, but I'm not sure I can handle a game with such punishing difficulty. I still haven't beaten Dark Souls! ;)
I'm going to fangirl so hard next week...
I think I'd be much more likely to buy a Vita if it had a good collection of downloadable titles that are priced similar to Xbox Live Arcade and PSN. Especially if one of those titles was Journey!
Already downloaded this! Can't wait to play tonight after work.
Am I the only one who saw the title "Catacomb Snatch" and thought of mummy vagina?
He does seem like a very nice man and he really loves the point-and-click adventure genre. I'm sure he'll do a great job on the new game!
Agreed on the voice acting. Although Skyrim does a better job than Oblivion, there are still a lot of noticably repeated voice actors and lines.
Nice article, but I'm not sure I agree with the last point. I find the leveling speed to be a bit too fast. Every time I visit a new planet, I'm halfway through it's recommended level range and the mobs are generally quite easy to kill. I find myself skipping a lot of side quests now just so the planets are total ezmode by the time I get to them.
Like the writer, I too suck at online shooters. There. I said it.
The publisher croaked, not the developer. Hopefully, Ronimo Games can find a more stable publisher for its DLC.
