Well, since ZeniMax own Bethesda and id software - maybe Carmack can rustle up a new engine for them to use on the next 'Elder Scrolls'.. that's of course if the 'Skyrim' turns out subpar.

I remember and have played every game on that list.. good times..
My only problem are some of the choices for the given year, e.g. 2000 RE Code Veronica over games likes Rayman 2 (PS2), Baldur's Gate II (PC), Diablo II (PC), Perfect Dark (N64) or even Thief II (PC)..
But that's just my opinion.

I absolutely agree about not being able to place a little note on a map for a reminder that I've been here and done that. Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas, Torchlight all offenders there. No doubt Skyrim will be the same.

I've been reading about it on Deadline.com seems the studios' are about to hammer Netflix with huge fees for their catalogs and if I was reading it right, Netflix will have to pay even more to get newer movies for streaming only.

You're right it doesn't take any effort to buy something.. but given that that PS2 collection is sealed, he's never played them.. His he a gamer or an investment hoarder? I guess he's hoping that in 10 or 20 years those games will be worth 5x or 10x what he paid for them.
Still, it's his money.. kind of a waste if you ask me, I'd rather play games than look at them on a shelf collecting dust.

Pfft, it's not like the 360 is hard to mod. Can be done in 20mins. PS3 can be modded even quicker, no more than 5mins.

Yes it does.. terrible game, atrocious animations, decidedly lacking of humor, awful flat graphics, poor sound,..
and before you ask, yes, I remember 'Duke', I remember 'Duke' when he was a 2D side scroller.. 'Duke Nukem 3D' was one of the best games of the 90's..
This game - is a sad, stale pale imitation of the 'Duke' that I remember.
Shouldn't 'Psychonauts' and say 'Futurama' be on that list?
