Last week - 1.8 barely walked 5ft down the road and I got a hard freeze.. I'll update to 1.9 later and see if it helps.
All I've noticed since installing 1.9 - is that my 360 freezes a lot now.. 5 times in the last hour.. it's almost like playing it on my PS3.
The Eidolon, Rescue on Fractalus, Ballblazer - on the C64/Atari XL, superb games.. and let's not forget their classic adventure games either..

'Jet Force Gemini' more than deserves a comeback.
It should also be noted that 'Bioshock' was also easy, actually ridiculously easy.. quite possible to go through that game, not dying and using only the wrench.. still didn't diminish in anyway (for me) on what an incredible game it was.
I need to finish this game - got side tracked and finished other ones.. hopefully they'll release a GOTY/Gold edition of the game with all the DLC.
Plenty of cheats to get achievements too - whole websites full of them.. As for me, I don't really care for trophies/achievements - If I get them while playing a game, great but I'm not gonna bust a nut trying to get them all.

Unfortunately EA owns 'System Shock' and they have no interest in reviving it.. damn shame too, cause after that ending in 'System Shock 2' we NEED closure.
Still have the original PS1 discs for these.. awesome games, pity what followed were junk.
Well if you get the PS3 version of 'Infinite', 'Bioshock' is included. You can get 'Bioshock 2' for $10 at Gamestop.

why bother, it's cheaper to buy a PS3 game than it would be to burn a PS3 game (blu-ray writer, blank blu ray media and you still need the game to copy)
What do PS1 games look like on the PS3 anyway, I've never tried on my PS3 since I use my PS2 for my PS1 games.

Well, it's a lot more stable than it was, it's still frustrating though. I have the PS3 version with all the DLC and no two games are alike.
I played it the other night and it was smooth as silk, only after about an hour did a little jerkiness start to kick it and as the hours passed, it became more of an issue.. But then when I played yesterday afternoon (using another save character) and every 20-30 seconds, the game would pause, finally just after a hour it froze u...
So, is IGN now buying 'exclusive' reviews for upcoming games?

I agree - in fact you can get a 32" HDTV for $199 now, just shop around.
Cutting edge graphics? - there's nothing cutting edge in reusing an engine that is now pushing 8yrs old - nothing.
