How was Irrational profitable though? 2 games in 6yrs doesn't sound very profitable to me.
There is a piece on NeoGAF that shows 2K were going to close down Irrational Games anyway, all Ken did was hasten the demise.
Also, as a comparison.. in 6yrs Naughty Dog released Uncharted 1-3 & The Last of Us.
I agree with the review, it is a fun game but just like other LEGO games, once you've finished the story and freeplay.. the game is done. Nothing else to do.
Their are still problems with the game camera.
The HUB of the game is terrible, poorly thought out, it's all over the place. Some of in-game levels are also, poorly designed. It's also difficult in some levels to actually see the minikit parts (gold instrustion manual).

More than likely, one of the big telecom/tv companies.
ATT, Comcast, Verizon.. Google.
Also a consequence of using an old game engine? Source is what, approaching 10yrs old - been thoroughly exploited by now.
This is not a ding against the game.
But does anyone think that EA is now having misgivings over the exclusivity of Titanfall, by it not being available on the PS3/PS4? - all those potential lost sales and lost DLC sales. You could be talking hundreds of millions of dollars.
I can only hope whatever EA was offered it was enough to makeup any short comings in sales because it's not available to 85mil potential buyers.
I was hoping that thi...
Still not sold on it being Mass Effect - heck we know Mass Effect 4 is in the works, no reason it's not coming to the PS4 unless EA in their misguided wisdom have done another behind the doors for a big bag of cash exclusivity deal, like Titanfall.
Massive could also imply, MMO.. such as
Planetside 2
EverQuest
WoW (you never know)
Looking back at that statement, I think "finally" is the key word.. as in a franchise that maybe was on another system.
..."a series of massive significance finally being confirmed for the PS4"
Hmmm..
Grand Theft Auto?
Shenmue?
Syphon Filter?
SOCOM?
The Getaway?
Pretty sure we'll found out before that mag hits the streets anyway.
You know the longer Bethesda delay a Fallout 4 announcement, the more customers (like yourself) will say F.I. and find other games.
BTW, I agree with your sentiment. Fallout 3 came out in 2008.. been long enough. New Vegas was a spin-off, not a sequel and even that came out in 2010.
I still haven't seen one in any store I've been in.. I was at Gamestop over the weekend and within 15mins of the store opening, there had already been more than 20 people coming in asking for the PS4 (they didn't and haven't had any at this store for quite sometime, I asked) To their credit, the sales associate asked them if they wanted a Xbox One.. should've seen the reactions on the faces of these people, would have curdled milk.
Serious Sam?! - don't know where you get that from.. Shadow Warrior (at least the original version) was nothing more than a Japanese inspired Duke Nukem 3D, complete with the sterotypical mannerisms and speech. A big stupid cheesy game (like Duke) I loved it back in the day.. Lo Wang was the man!
Wow, that came out of left field didn't it.. still, at least he's the one doing it and not some publisher or investor. Wish him luck for the future.
We never did get that Vita version of 'Bioshock' either..
Wonder what 2K plays on doing with the 'Bioshock' franchise now.. new game incoming?
If there is a Fallout 4 announcement, more than likely it'll be at E3 and even then don't expect it to release until at least Oct or Nov 2015.
I'm 43 been gaming since 1978 (yeah, 1978) I seen it all and tried to play it all too.
I'm old enough to remember all those "console" or which system is better wars.. trust me, it's not worth wasting your time on, they are better ways to pass the time.. like gaming.
I can tell you this (no lie either) since 1978, I've played some absolutely amazing games across a vast array of home systems, consoles and handhelds.
Co...
For some, yes.. as for myself, no - I'm waiting for Destiny.
Bit early for GTA 6 rumors isn't it?
I wouldn't expect a GTA 6 to drop until 2017 maybe even 2018.
Yeah, if it isn't instantaneous, why bother, right /s
If MS has the $$$ to stop it going anywhere - how come they haven't bought the IP then, what's stopping them??
They have a complicit publisher and developer (sorry Respawn, I don't believe the BS that EA gave MS exclusive rights behind your back)
MS bought the IP for 'Gears of War' and there were rumors that franchise was going to hit the PS family. So, wasn't hasn't MS done the same with 'Titanfall'?
I actually prefer the sequel and for a $1.49, it's a steal!
After the way Activision treated Zampella and their contenuous lawsuits.. I still don't believe for a moment that Zampella didn't know EA had made a deal behind his back for console exclusivity..
(Me personally) I don't buy that BS for a minute.
He had to have known, otherwise, what else doesn't he know about his own company if a can get hoodwinked by a publisher.. also, he took the deal with EA and the console exclusivity.. he could've, ...
