It was supposed to come out on Tuesday, March 25th. Guess what that means.. the discs have already been pressed and the game is sitting in cases in a numerous warehouses.
This delay is a patch.. not like MS or EA have ever not done a Day 1 patch.. Heck, the XBOne version of 'Titanfall' had a day 1 patch, so, why shouldn't the 360 version either?
Another thing, this game with it's new delay is 2 weeks away - and by golly neither EA or Bluepoint...
I'll believe it when I see that PS4 game box on a store shelf.
A lot can happen between now and then.
I've been playing on my 360 - sure it's not the prettiest game out there but it's still damn good and it's a great game.
Complain less, play more..
So, less than a week before it's revised release, they delay it again another month..
..and they still haven't shown a screenshot, developer or gameplay video.. Come on EA, WTF are you hiding??
Wow, certainly don't give you a lot for the Wii U do they.. heck a PS3 gets you more money and a 360 almost gets the same.
Well, I hope it's an improvement over 'DA 2' which was such a letdown after 'DA'
And woo, only 84 days til E3!
Again?, man, they've done this sale with the exact same games not too long ago, just before or after Thanksgiving of last year I think it was..
How about some newer games at rock bottom prices or different games for a change.
Yep..
I'm looking at you, Bethesda..
Let's be honest, nothing is going to happen though. Money talks.
@MeknSence
Don't think EA has a say in it. They don't have publishing rights to any sequel(s) to 'Titanfall' - they do have first refusal but no publishing.
Respawn, if they wanted could go to another publisher.
Although, I firmly believe that before that would happen MS will write Respawn a huge check to keep 'Titanfall' a MS exclusive.
First game was surprisingly good actually.. my daughter still plays that one even though she's finished it multiple times.
I am looking forward to the movie though, hopefully it'll be as good as the first one.
No, only PS3/360 and PC it seems.
You never know though, could come to the PS4/XBO if sales are good or there is a demand for it.
@abzdine
Yes, The LEGO Movie Videogame uses the GamePad.
Can't see Walmart offering anything of value on any games you try and trade in.
Probably give you a $1 for Borderlands 2 or some other stupid amount.
This is the second time Walmart has done this - they had a trade-in programs a few years ago but ditched it after about 18 months - wonder why they're trying again?
Remember them all. I'm an old fart in the gaming world.
Still have many games on both 5 and qrt and 3.5" floppies.. haven't owned a machine that can read them though in over 12 years now.
Keyboard overlays were awesome, especially for flight simulators.. some of those games had as many key inputs as a real plane and the manuals were huge.. still have Tornado and the 3 manuals total over 600 pages!
But they (MS) fragmented the community before with the 360.. not every 360 was sold with a HDD, so in part, some games were gimped to accomodate those without the HDD.
Also, so far, outside of 'Ryse', we haven't seen a fully utilised Kinect game.. maybe MS should make 'Halo 5' a full kinect game? Because the longer they go between releasing a Kinect game the quicker the user base and potential user base are going to ask for Kinect to be removed.
Damn.
Glad he's still alive but damn, those Koreans take gaming too seriously..
What were last week's numbers?
Cause 96% increase don't mean jack without context of the previous week's sales numbers.
The thing is, sales wise that's terrible.. just look back at previous LEGO games, sales wise across all formats and the 2013 numbers are truely terrible.
A few examples and some of these are old now since the games don't sell anymore.
LEGO Star Wars (as of 2009) 6.7mil copies
LEGO Star Wars 2 (as of 2009) 8.2mil copies (heck, it sold 1.1mil copies on in it's opening week)
LEGO Indy 1 (as of 2012) 11mil copies
LEGO ...
..could last 12 years.
Why in the hell would you want it too though. In 12 years, the XBOne, Wii U and PS4 will be relics from a bygone era.
Technology moves so fast and you can't afford to be too far behind the curve in this day and age.
I can only imagine what a PC will look like or have in it in 12 years. Let me put it this way, I bought my first PC in the Fall of 1992.. it was a SX425 that ran at 25 megahertz!!, it came with a 2x CD-R...
I know it's the second delay.. it was supposed to come out on March 11th just like the PC/XBOne, but then a week before (March 3 or 4) they delayed the 360 to March 25th and now a week before, they delay AGAIN for another 2 weeks.
How would Vince Zampellas know if the 360 wasn't finished, since Respawn aren't even the ones doing the port.. also, he didn't even know that 'Titanfall' was a MS exclusive.. that tells you everything you need to know about t...
