It was bound to happen sometime... If people pay it we might as well accept all games will be 60 on PC and now what 75+ on consoles? I would pay it for a good game because there are a lot of MMOs on the PC that I already have spent a lot of cash on to play but those game take forever to beat and give you years of play time. I can't believe the same people talking about how much a 300-400 dollar console costs are fine with paying almost 80 bucks on a game that will probably take about 4-6 hour...
I have a lvl 15 templar a 25 assassin and have played the last couple of closed betas and IMO it's an ok game I guess... but it's WoW with flying pretty much and the flying gets boring quick and you can't even fly in a lot of zones. I guess if you're bored with WoW and want to play a game just like it maybe you'll be happy but for me I wish I didn't preorder the game because im already tired of it.
Did you even click on the link Prospero? Even the 100 dollar cards are running this game at 4x AA 16 AF graphics maxed at 1920 x 1200 with full 3d support... how the hell is that looking crappy compared to the console versions RE?
If I were to choose back in 05-07 it would have been the 360 but if I were to pick one today it would be the ps3.
If you don't have anything good to say keep it to yourselves and we all can get along just fine. You have a problem with the game then don't buy it. if you think this game is a 6.5 you shouldn't be reviewing games. I haven't heard anyone, even those that hate the genre, say this game is that bad. Opinion or not it doesn't reflect what gamers think and IMO they shouldn't be taken seriously.

IMHO Killzone 2 looks way better than this game. The problem with GoW 3 is so far is I've seen this stuff before. They really need to spice it up with all new animations.

Why would anyone sane get mad that someone without a ps3 gets to play it...? IMO it's great news if it's like FFXI online that means the servers will be together and their will be a lot more people to play with and in my case it's even better because I have a good PC and a ps3 so my GF and I will be able to play together. I just don't understand why I should be mad that someone plays a game on different hardware than I do. I just don't care and I doubt anyone normal ever would.
People do just play games Josephat it's just these people have WAY more time to sit and post over and over to drown out everyone else. Im sure also a lot of these guys are the same person with 40 different names and some are just kids messing around to make people mad. I have both consoles and I think a bunch of people on here have both as well or have one and they're indifferent to the other.
Now as for this article I don't think it's right. As of right now im pretty sure God of War 3...
I've heard good things about this game and those multiplayer features sound cool. Im going to have to pick this one up when it comes here.
This is a surprise. I wrote this game off. Im a fan of gears so it being like GoW isn't a bad thing to me... I just thought it wouldn't be able to get the gameplay gears has and would end up being a cheap rip off but they really seem to have got a great shooter here. I really like that they have added what looks like a good melee system too. The sword looks fun to use and the fact that you can work as a team to do moves is a really cool idea that I would like to see more of in co-op games.
I can't wait to play this game. You never know how a game will end up being like but I just can't see this one turning out bad. The first one is just so good and they seem to have improved on everything that the UC1 was missing.
It's not exclusive. I think it's on a whole bunch of consoles but im guessing only the xbox and ps version will be in 3d... Hopefully we will learn more tomorrow because it is odd we have heard that the ps3 can do 3D but we have yet to hear that xbox can. I just hope this becomes more common because a lot of genres, horror type games for instance, could be made better by using this tech IMO.

I've had some of the people glitch and get stuck on objects a couple times but that's about it. This game isn't a 7.5 I don't know this site but I just can't agree with this review... If you have a ps3 at least rent this game because IMO if you don't like this game you're more than likely not going to like any open sandbox type game.
I don't care if GOW comes out 3 months after christmas because there will be so many good games coming out around then I wont have time to play them all anyway. Also Gamestop has had GOW 3 at a march 2010 release for about half a year now... but im guessing everyone knew that. This is just a bash X console because Y console is better article. I love LBP and mario kart so this one seems like a win.
