If bungie wants a new style of sci-fi shooter I'm sure they will make a new marathon and not completely change Halo to be something else. Downloads wont replace discs until everyone has high speed internet. Not only do a lot of movie goers not have DSL or Cable but people who live 20-30 miles outside of any city here in the USA don't even have the option to buy it even if they wanted it. Do you really think that Disney or any company is going to go download only and take a hit in sales just to end the disc format? I would say not likely at least not anytime soon.
The biggest problem I have playing on consoles is the matchmaking and the green yellow red lag meter instead of ping times. Nothing bothers me more than not knowing what my ping is or being able to choose the server I want. Also unlike consoles pc gamers make mods. So how will matchmaking work when I want to play a certain player made mod that only a few servers have? Or is playing mods or player made maps now going to be a thing of the past for PC gaming? After seeing 21 other great reviews it's really hard to take this one serious... RPG fans have been waiting for a really hard online rpg to come around and this seems to be it. If it's not your thing that's fine but it doesn't mean the game should get a 6.
Rebates are given only if you purchase something between a certain time and rebates always take more than a month to get. There are a lot of things to complain about when it comes to Microsoft but this really isn't one of them IMO.

I agree holding a wand and a dual shock would be odd to me. I think using something like splitfish wireless fragFX left hand controller and using the wand might work though.

I have all the COD games on PC and i'll be picking this one up on PC as well... If you want really high res you shouldn't be playing on a console.

Diablo?! not sure about that one. It's a great game and if you don't have it get it but I would say Demon's souls is much closer to Diablo but I guess he's not in a position to praise that game.
