Hum, maybe it might have something to do with legal issues. I think in some asian country, degrading women might be tolerable, but not in western countries. The console games are hindering the potential of PC games. Many of FF games (FF7, FF8,etc..)end up on the PC anyway, so why bother with crappy x360 or PS3 versions? I'll wait for the superior version on the PC. :)

Adopting blue-ray is a suicidal step. What about +38 millions user out there? X360 is not a PC where u can just add stuff on if you want. The best bet is to reduce the price of HDD, or allow 3rd party HDD on it. They should have kept the pro-model instead of the arcade (unless they going for game axactly like the wii, it would be ok) and go with digital distribution.

Nice. Lost Odyssey is top for me as well. And i agree with TPC that the dream sequence weren't incorporate into the current game play. Although it is hard, cause he lives for 1000 years, places or people that he knew through out his life have already change or or died for century. But regardless, it really ties into character development of Kaim and other immortals. The story is written by a famous writter in Japan anyway so that is why it is very good read. Congradulate to ND, UC2 is an alsome game. They really pay a lot of attention to the sequal. Lots of variety, pacing, good graphics, best voice acting so far, better animation (i still think animation is the best in Assassin creed though). Much better than UC1. I didn't like UC1 because of the repetativeness in environments or enemies. The story was good though. ND deserve good sell.
Man i would prefer remake of chrono trigger or xenogears. F#$# FF7. I think that game is really overated. It is probably due to it being the first FF in 3D with good CGI cut scene.
I agree with FF developers. FF13 seem to have lots of influence from FFx and FF12. They try to combine the best of both while trying to input something new into the game (battle machanic for example).

The name Sam Fisher is a little too soft for such a bad ass character, especially in this video. This game kinda remind me of Jack Bower in 24 or Liam Nelson in Taken. What a kick ass trailer literrally.
People will buy establish franchise (MGS, Halo, GT, GTA, MARIO, FF, GoW, DMC,NG) so developers will keep making them, and why not, these are among the best games anyways. Just imagine if one day these games are gone, and only new IPs games present, i'll bet many gamers will feel lost, angry, skeptical and the entire gaming industry could be in jeopardy seriously. It is unsual for new IPs to do as well as Gears or Uncharted.
hum....i'm not sure about this. I mean how hard it is to add a few custum to SF4 that they need to sell DLC for those? Common, how much space can it take up in SF4 game? Same with RE5. PS3 also have games that have payed DLC like map packs, custums etc...(KZ2, UC2). Why don't they add those in the first place? Blue-ray should be able to handle those right? Fanboy are stupid that is for sure. But i do game on both consols, i really don't see the differences between the two. They both have really good looking games and each has their strong and weak point. It is really down to what game u prefer on what system or where ur friend are at if you like to play online. Really, the two system are pretty equal this generation. Only fanboy thinks otherwise.

I don't know what sandbox type of game on PS3 that look good either. Most are on small scale. Don't tell me infamous cause u can't do half of the things as in GTA4 and GTA4 looks dam good with outragous details.
PS3 Blue-ray is not the key to good graphic either. Just look at Crysis that is like sandbox FPS running on DVD. So far the only advantage that i see using blue-ray is for uncompress video, cut scene and music (FF13, MGS4).

U don't anything about the x360. U can play it out of the disc. Installing game on x360 is OPTIONAL (NOT MANDATORY), FF13 included. Unlike some games on the PS3, including demos from PSN, which have mandatory installation.
