Yeah, the very problem about the series starting to be repetitive is exactly the way DkS3 looks too much like Bloodborne with some stupid changes.
I think Witcher will beat it, but so far that's just my glass ball talking.
btw. this "piece" is ridiculously barebones, looks more like a long post on some gaming forum rather than an article.
I definitely start to feel the fatigue with Souls franchise, especially after playing Bloodborne, DkS3 just goes backwards on so many great changes that were made in bloodborne, like evades instead of rolls on locked target, great blood splatter system, no backstab fishing in pvp etc.
I'd rather have worse looking game with better performance than a good looking slideshow.
Broader audience means lowered difficulty curve in order to not scare them away. Sad truth.
