I always hated stealth in games. There is nothing worse for me than forced stealth sections where being discovered equals instant failure.
That's....interesting. I wonder if the Warlander devs/publisher threatened Steam with a lawsuit?
Every Soulslike game ever made.
I'm really looking forward to this. I just hope it doesn't end up being an online-only/gaas type of game like The Crew.
That's a great way to get an entire country to pirate your game out of spite. Just kidding, they would have pirated it anyway.
I always thought it was because the games were so short, so it made sense to make them hard so players couldn't beat them in a single sitting, well not until they'd mastered the game anyway. Cartridge based games were really expensive back in the day, so you wouldn't get your moneys worth if you could just breeze right through it.
"McGee had a number of stepfathers when growing up until his mother finally settled into a relationship with a transgender woman. When McGee was sixteen, he came home from school and found his house empty and abandoned; the only things left were his bed, his books, his clothes and his Commodore 64 computer. His mother had sold the house to pay for two plane tickets and the fee for her girlfriend's gender confirmation surgery, leaving him on his own."
Holy shit...
I bought my SX long before I found you could use emulators on it. I have a PS5 for exclusives and multiplats so I'm not too fussed. MS "exclusives" are going to be a long time coming anyway, so besides Starfield I'm not missing much.
I would much rather have a full, complete retail release than this gacha crap. F*** this "free to play" crap!
Thankfully I only take my SX online every now again just to update it. I'm not interested in MP, GP, or Xbox Live. I have very few digital purchases, maybe 3 or 4. It's been offline for probably the last month. Turns out now, there's no need to update it ever again. I'll be keeping all of my emulators on there thanks very much. Yes I know I can play them on PC, but much more convenient and enjoyable for me on console. I'm just not into PC gaming.
No it doesn't need it. It was remastered in 60 fps last gen and still looks and plays great. Would be a waste of time, money and resources imo. It's games from 3 or 4 gens back that could use the remake treatment.
PC Cheater Race.
"According to an update on the official Japanese website, the game will launch in the fall of 2023 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC."
Square Enix really fucking hates Xbox doesn't it. I wonder how much MS gave them for Octopath Traveler? Must've been a small fortune.
I saw that film. It was chilling in the end when *SPOILER* someone fired a shot at him, not to hit him but just to send a message.
I just want a release date for Outcast 2.
Damn. I replayed it recently on SX with fps boost, and to achieve that they had to downgrade the resolution. Game played great but looked like ass. Wish I had've waited.
That is f****** awesome! I've been hoping for a console version for ages.
If you have a Series X or S, the Xbox 360 version runs at 60 fps with fps boost. It's a shame the remaster doesn't.
The game gives you the option to repair them, so at least you don't have to worry about losing your favourite weapons.
I hope it comes to console as well. Seems strange just to announce it for PC. Speaking of which, it's also weird the third game only released on PC. You'd think there would be a bigger market for platformers on console.
