PGR was the first 'next-gen racer I got to see. Back in 2005 or 2006 I played a demo in my local shop, and was amazed. I picked up a 360 in 2008 but haven't touched the game lol.
If MS have a good reveal, I might just consider getting the 720, as I love racing games. Plus, if I can remember, it had night-time racing? Something unfortunately missing from Forza.

Strange. I know I have played a few games where your shadows are made to look like they are hitting a surface (as they would in real life) but in actuality they are just floating in mid-air.
If that is the case, quite strange seeing as how the CryEngine is supposed to be one of the best when it comes to lighting and presumably shadows. I have no idea. Good spot though.
The reason I use to define whether the PS4 is a 'beast' or not is that the rumoured specs were said to be quite good, as the GDDR5 RAM is quite fast and effective for video/graphics. The fact that Sony doubled the amount says to me that this console will be quite powerful.
Besides, we already know it is a beast just by going off of the Killzone Shadow Fall game (It was completely in-game btw, as it was even played on Jimmy Fallon).

Hey shadow. I only played Halo 4 MP for the first 2 weeks. I stopped playing because I got tired of the very limited amount of maps, and the constant lag (no dedicated servers?? WTF is this 2001?).
The community forge maps ruined Halo Reach MP. Absolute uninspired trash for the most part. All this from one of the biggest Halo fans. Halo 4 is one of my favourite games, I'm just disappointed I couldn't enjoy the MP like everyone else.

Stupid and immature comment. Most this guys reviews are for Xbox and PC, and if you watched any of them (just spent the last couple of hours watching old reviews from him) you would know this guy rips s*** on MS constantly, especially the Kinect.

PS3 exclusives have been some of the only games worth $60 this gen.

Admittedly, it was my brother's Wii, and I could never wrap my head around the menu's and things. I just played it every now and then for a few exclusives and to whoop some French people online in Mario Kart (seriously, every time I played Mario Kart online, I only vs French and Italian people lol)
Again, reading your first sentence, name other big franchises that didn't do exactly that. Gears 1 played WAY differently than Gears 2 online. Gears 2 was very slow. Gears 3 was super fast.
CoD fits your first sentence perfectly (doesn't mean it's bad). Also, no Gears fan would want air or vehicle combat. It has always been about skill and that would make it unblanaced. Stealth was big in Gears 1 MP, and Gears 2 was the most tactical (some would argue too much). ...
Well, Gears 2 played quite differently than Gears 1. Gears 3 played quite differently than Gears 1 and 2. I suppose, it all comes down to the speed and controls of the game. Any hardcore player can tell the difference from a mile away.

First thing I though of. Hopefully it is better sound quality. The noises emitted from the Wiimote were murder inducing. F***ing terrible. Skyward Sword was almost ruined because of it. Mario Kart almost had me throw the POS out the window.
Fruit Ninja for Kinect works better than the one on a lot of touch-screens, as you can have 2 players going at it, with both arms = 4 blades. My tablet allows to fingers simultaneously, but not all tablets/phones do.
My opinion on Kinect is that it is great for the kids, and for a bit of silly fun. It is good at bringing the family together. IT IS NOT, however, a good device for 'hardcore' gamers. It is too imprecise, and clunky.
Never thought about it like that, but I doubt it. If it increases the price, the new Xbox will be too expensive. Everyone who wants a new Xbox is FORCED into paying for Kinect, whether they like it or not (the console has been built around the Kinect, so whether or not you are receiving a Kinect is beside the point).
At this point, who cares about the new Xbox? Right now, it is all PS4. Unless MS prove me otherwise (I highly doubt it) when they reveal their console.
No, they said it themselves. Just like how The Witcher 2 didn't make it to the PS3. Their team is small, so they could only release it on one next-gen platform.
