I have, rather the kid in me, has high hopes for this one.
Systematically destroyed anything good with the series by making R&C co-op only. Nice way to take story and put it on the back burner. This will be the end of the franchise for Insomniac. Sony will have to do what's right and take it from these hacks after it sales a collective 200,000 in its lifetime. Try filling or finding a game in this one after 3 months, let alone a year. Online games are disposable games. Simple as that.
Seems like some work would be going into doing it but cool. Maybe someday I can jam some old nes, gen, snes and mame on my ps3. That'd be cool.
Sucker Punch is too worried about pleasing their fickle fan-base, same fan-base who said they wouldn't buy the game if they didn't change the guy back to the way he was, instead of expand the franchise outward with much needed elements.

For our downloads to be separate from purchased content in the store. It is tedious and time consuming to scroll through 500+ downloads just to find the stuff you bought and rightfully should be able to download again with ease. Stupid. I mean, how hard could it be? Give us Two Categories, man. Demo Downloads (which we don't even need) and then Purchased Downloads. (these would be games and DLC we've bought). Simple. Not rocket science.

It's almost as if Microsoft thinks everyone has arcades for living quarters. This isn't practical for anyone who will adopt Kinect in the offset. Not to mention this game looks like shovel ware. Regardless if I had the space or not, which I do, I still wouldn't buy it or play it.

It really doesn't matter how relevant Resistance is to Sony as they own it. If they don't feel it's profitable anymore they'll drop it or shift it's scope to a new target audience. So eluding to the fact so subtly that it "might" go elsewhere is a waste of their time, my time and your time. Insomniac doesn't own R&C or Resistance I.P. Typical Insomniac, doing everything in their power to not expand or innovate the franchise further. They, instead, decided to take the easy, watered down, route and make a disposable game. A game very few will adopt to play to begin with, let alone actually stick with for more than 3 to 5 months. Let's pay 60 bucks for disposable games everyone! Games that have a life span of about 5 months or until the next big online FPS comes out. Makes tons of sense to me.
Of course it does. It's Multiplatform. From now on we should all just know this in advance. If it's on xbox 360 and Ps3, it'll look and run like dog crumbs.
After Resistance 2 I don't think expectations is the exact phrase I'd be using. More like redeem some of the former glories from the 1st game maybe? And anyone who thinks Nathan Hale will be in this game and look the same has no imagination. Hale will look completely different if he's in this game. Prepare for that because people have already complained about Cole & Hale looking too much alike. I think Insomniac wants to get away from that.
Not for me. I own both Soldner games and if I wanted MushRoom Wars I'd just drop the 10 bucks on it, instead of paying 50 bucks for Sony to loan it to me for a year.

Halloween 3 is the best the series has to offer and anyone with any intelligence knows that it took a huge risk and gamble by not having Myers in it.
