Just what we needed, more multiplayer junk no one will play past the 1st month. Why ruin the single player experience for this crap? We should only pay 40 bucks for the singleplayer game, 20 bucks for multiplayer game and 60 bucks if you want both in one. I never play online. It's pointless. It's not fun. It's a waste of time.

Sounds about what you'd expect to hear from Sony. I agree, though. I don't think it's the firmware. And if it is, it's probably a coupling affect. A few of the last firmwares that did nothing, combined with this firmware that does nothing, makes things go south when trying to upgrade your HDD's.
Then again, I have a 500gb hdd in both my launch Ps3 and Slim Ps3. And have yet to encounter a problem so far.

So far both my ps3's are running fine. My launch Ps3, while 100%ing Deathspank last night, kept cutting the sound out but I rebooted it and it played fine from there on out. So, no worries on my end.
