In the same boat, but Mafia II on the Ps3 looks rubbish as usual. Shank, hopefully, will turn out right. But the year looking forward doesn't look good. There is no PS3 exclusives I want. GT5 and LBP is all Sony has and that just isn't enough. Not for me. They need a good action game for the winter or an adventure game and they just don't have it.
A Syphon Filter 4, released during October, would have been king. A missed opportunity on Sony's part. <...
Love the snes. Good system, but as good as it was and still is to this day, I am still partial to the Genesis for some reason. Both systems usher in many memories, though.
Neither, I'm getting move.
Dear god, the dancing game wasn't even insync with the girls. I mean at all. It'd clap like 2 seconds before they would. That was without a doubt a nail in the coffin for most anyone with intelligence. Of course there are millions of stupid parents and conformist out there who will turn a blind 3rd eye to it all. This makes the eyetoy look like a revolution, even with the lack of a mirror flip.
Sad, man. The industry is doomed, what with all the casual junk like...
Not the biggest rpg fan, myself. I do, however, feel Suikoden 1&2 are two of the best games ever made. They really captivated me then and to this day. They rank on my top 20 games of all time, that's for sure. Suikoden is in my top 10, easily. Suikoden 2 slips to around 15.
I like action/rpg's more than standard, you take a turn I take a turn combat, though. Alundra, Zelda, Crystalis all come to mind and are all brilliant games. Love the hell out of Alundr...
So, basically Deathspank is a 9. Coming from Edge an 8 is always a 9 and a 9 is always a 10. So forth and so on. Buy Deathspank, people. It's brilliant. Can't wait for the next one, it has a great hook at the end of this one.
Yes, the minis are hit and miss. Fly Fu is, perhaps, the worst game I think I've ever played. In my life. Like, ever. It is beyond just bad. It's pointless. It's a complete waste of time to play. And with that said, with it being a complete waste of time to play, what does that say for the developers who actually had the gumption to make it?
Minis, all of them, should be 2.99. Bar none.
I hate to admit it but with how typical and conforming the worlds population is, yeah, this is probably true. All the public needs to have to buy into something is the approval of the guy standing next to them. This then sets of a chain reaction where everyone is conforming to the "popular" opinion instead of their own.
You see this behavior a lot in public schools all throughout America. Pretty sad really. And it reaches well beyond games into our movies, mu...
PS+ is an absolute waste to me. I buy everything I want. Take one look at just my trophy support and you'll see that. Thats just the games that have trophies. I've buy tons of PS3, Psone, Minis and PSN games that don't support trophies. I don't wait for Sony to give it to me on lend, while I pay them 50 bucks. What the hell is the PS+, a time share? Get real. And just like Time Shares are a rip off so is the PS+.
I hope nobody listens to this guys/sites ideas. Friday The 13th, ALL THE "LATER" ONES, suck a big one. Don't make this game.
Resurrect the minis? Hell, I just bought like 6 of them this last week. I have like 15 minis now. I'm sure this will expand to 20 and 30 too.
I got a PSPgo and love it. I just wish Sony would support it more on the Storefront. It's stupid how they handle the PSN store all around, really. Very inconsistent and shoddy service by most standards. It almost has no continuity to it. It's not a complete service, rather a sporadic one.
Hey, here are some minis and a few PSP games. Why not top that off with one or two PS3 games. Oh, look out, a bevy of Psone games no one has heard about coming your way. ...
It's almost as if every Sony developer says this absurd tag line just to get hype and excitement for their game. It's like if they say this then people will buy it. Sad, really. But, with that said, I do love the Motor Storm franchise and will buy this one even though I don't agree with it's location much. I was hoping for something else. Then again, these guys had me hooked with MSPR so I'm not going to doubt them here.
Boooooooooooooooo!
Go away Insomniac. I was hoping Sony gave Resistance & R&C to another developer to work on. This news is upsetting. It means for , atleast, another installment we've got status quo Insomniac making R&C still. A company that has chosen to keep the franchise as it was since the ps2 days without adding anything new to the gameplay. They think by adding 10 new weapons a game that gamers will be satisfied. No wonder why R&C went from s...
I've always been strongly against online modes in my games. I think there should be a seperate game released for online players and it should be made by another internal team within the company.
You people don't play 90% of the online games out there. You don't. You like to complain when a game doesn't have it, though. Why? You don't even play them!!!
Try booting up Stranglehold. Try it. Try to play a game of that online. G'luck...
I can't believe how much Sega impacted the world of gaming. But, like the Beatles, it was only for such a short time. The Beatles were only active as a recording and touring band for some 9 years. Not long at all to leave such a huge mark on the world. Sega was only really viable and a player in the industry for 4 years. from 1989 to 1994. Not very long. Yet, we all love them. We all live vicariously through their past glories.
Yes, the had the master system and t...
Finally, a break from their turdy games. I hope Sony gave R&C to someone else. Please, oh please, let them have given the franchise to someone else. I hope Insomniac stays far, far away from R&C. Why you ask? Because Sony gave them the oppurtunity to make something good out of the franchise and theyy ruined it. They've sat around, keeping everything status quo. The gameplay in R&CFTOD, R&CAQFB & R&CACIT are all, 100% the same as the Ps2 iterations. Insomn...
Sad, but it's the way the world of business works. I miss DataEast and Sunsoft. I miss Tengen and Working Design. It's what happens. Sad, but hey, all we can do is hope their intellectual properties fall into deserving, caring, understand hands. Sadly, it didn't happen with the above mentions games.
Double Dragon
Alundra (which sony owns)
Bad Dudes, Karnov and many others. All gone. I hope we see more of Eidos' material in the future.
Like classic cartoons of our past, 2-d characters stand out. Not only do they stand out, but they stand the test of time. There is a distinct art style one has to make and strive for when being limited. You have to make each character stand out on his own. Back in the 8 and 16bit days this was done by talented artist and designers. Now, not so much. Still very talented, don't get me wrong. I could never do what they do. But there is a certain charm and character lost within the ne...
I wonder if you can free roam without the time limit restrictions rearing their head again?
