I absolutely love Nintendo and their flagship games. I grew up on them and will always hold them in high regard. I just think they've lost their way since going into 3-d back with the n64. With that said, I still love SMB over all of them. Though SMW is very good.
Like it will matter... It'll play the same as all the other junk. Until Batman has depth in his games the whole thing sucks. When we have to fight for duality keeping our identity hidden from others and changing into batman and showing up somewhere on time and really battling it out with your own duality, at the same time the gsme is going on. That is a batman game.
Being batman is ony as interesting as Bruce Wayne was when he woke up that morning. We have to see the...
Not yet but it will. Hell, if Sony would've released one big game this holiday they could've done it. They thought it'd be better that we had nothing new to play other than the waiting game for the games they did push back.
Ps3 will over take xbox 360 around May, and that is when the next price drop will hit too.
And when Sony outsells the box you all will know it. Sony will be pounding their chest themselves. Not some offbeat website.
Maybe Microsoft should have packed in a couple free showroom play vouchers inside each Kinect box. This way unaware parents/consumers would have a place to go and play their 150 dollar bragging rite.
Microsoft will probably issue a press release saying something like:
"We're sorry you don't have enough suffecent space to play our awesome product. We truly feel sorry for you because it's so super cool, just ask the guys around the Microsoft ...
Altered Beast is a staple hit no matter how you look at it. It's a part of pop culture and to call it crap is a bit crazy. It was short, it lacked depth, but it was defining for the time and does anything but suck. I remember the day I got my gen and this game like it was yesterday.
As I said, there isn't a whole lot to the game but the nostalgia and art style is still memorable. I respect it and hold it as one of many game changers for me in my youth.
Yes, reorder and arrange your entire life style and set up just to play games that average 5.6 on the meta. Let's do it! And I'm laughing at the people who say things like --
"The most important part of Kinect is the potential"
hahahahaah, please. Really? Are you serious? This same mentality is what drives Powerball and lottery ticket sales in America. It's not the instant gratification, it's the potential of what it could bring ...
Dude thinks he's Bono; only Bono has a medical reason as to why he wears them all the time. What's this guys excuse? Lemme guess, he has flashbulb eyes. Please. Go away Greg Brady.
And Aaron Greenberg isn't black. He looks like a typical, out of shape red neck from Kentucky if you ask me. He probably also owns a collection of Silk shirts that he buttons up nice and tight too. And, if he's a Jew; which his last name implies, not unlike my own, he's a...
I love short games. I think a short game, that does what it sets out to do, is the best kind of game. Games become redundant after doing the same thing over and over and over; this is why I laugh when people complain about length in a game.
I often ask them what else would you be doing in the game that you already haven't done? They usually have no answer.
Most games reveal themselves completley within 3 to 5 hours of play. After that it's exposit...
I could never play MK games. My friends, back in the arcade days, loved it. Did the 30 million hit combos and 50 button pressed Fatalities and all of it -- Me, I couldn't ever do it. I was always a Street Fighter guy, myself. But even still, Marvel V Capcom doesn't interest me in its current state.
I just wish we could get some more focused software. If move is gonna be the big deal, lets see some games, real ones, not cardboard cut out shoot'em ups, and see ...
I would be happy if I never seen the franchise again. This series has overstayed its welcome with me. I cannot believe the hype and sheer amount of support it has. I really can't. It's the same damn game every year, and it doesn't matter who the developer is that's making it.
It is like someone made a mold of it many years ago and just passed it down each year, hoping it wouldn't break. And, as luck would have it for Activision, it hasn't. Furthe...
Sadly, there isn't one game I'm looking forward to at retail this year. Not one. I'm so sick of COD games and FPS. I'm sick of Ass-creed games and their lame little time traveling plots. I cannot believe how unfocused this holiday season was. But then I think back at all the past holidays when I actually cared about gaming, like 4 and 5 years ago, it was crazy packed with games. You couldn't buy them all. And if you did you didn't have time to play them all.
I never said Microsoft had a winning year, either. Nintendo had a weak year too, while I'm at it. But to say, "Sly Cooper Collection" is coming! With a proverbial smile on your face is irony at best. I won't buy it at retail. I'll wait to get it off the network, should Sony realize that's where they should be tossing such content at and too.
I'm singling out Sony here because it's the only system I own. I don't care what Microsoft o...
So you can give us all proof that they do have good exclusives this holiday season? Or are we hoping everyone still rushes out and buys
God of War 3
Uncharted 2
Killzone 2
Infamous
& a bevy of move controllers
Thought so. Hardcore "CORE" games have those games already. They want something new. Sony didn't offer that up for them this year. In stead they chose to push Move out with no software. No viable so...
"I will Stomp Aaron Greenberg OUT in every Kinect game"
Sounds sexual and weird. No thanks. Then again, look who we're dealing with in this trifecta.
Dead what? Dead Nation you say -- Game doesn't exist. Honestly, game's been off my radar screen for a long time. Sony really killed their holiday season this year.
They had a weak offering and showing to be honest.
LBP2 pushed back
GT5 pushed back (prolly to 2011 too)
Dead nation pushed back
They just didn't have any good exclusives this year, not even with those, and they did it in hopes of pushing Move into f...
It's alarming how much blind loyalty Microsoft has amassed here on this site. I hope you all have them in mine when Valentines day rolls around. We all know who's gonna be your Valentines you crazy kids you!
What next -- Buy a washing machine, get a box of tide stain fighter with an xbox 360 and Kinect in your next Sunday paper? Desperation comes in many shapes and sizes.
Anyone who disagreed with me is delusional. You suffer from delusions of grandeur as we speak.
The eyetoy: Camera based motion tech. Released November 4th 2003
Kinect: Camera based motion tech. Released November 4th 2010
Strange, huh? Microsoft is obviously envious. And, to add to this, with move you get the camera (which fuels Kinect) and the wands (which fuel the wii). And, with that, you get true 1:1, which neither Kinect or Wii off...
"Sony loss is Microsofts gain"
What's wrong with the punctuation here? I bet he writes these in his sleep. That is the only place these bat $*** crazy ass topics seem to make sense at. In his dreams.
I'm sure Kinect works lovely and flawlessly in lavish studios, complete with stage lighting and open spaces. No doubt about that -- But what happens when Joe Everyday brings it back to his reality based home? You know, the one where **** is...
It serves those fools at Ninja Theory right. But, as sad as their reality is, they'll still defend the xbox 360 and dog the Ps3 by saying something like --
"Yes, but it did preform better on the xbox 360 by some whopping 2000 units".
That's how delusional they are. I refuse to buy anything from them and encourage everyone or anyone, all 4 of you, if you do buy their software buy it used or borrow it from a friend. Rent it, maybe.
