I'm sorry, my post was directed to Karl, somewhat out of place with the game all together. The game, yeah, I'm kind of looking forward to myself. The show he's talking about is junk.
Game - alright
Show - horrible
Yeah, because we all know it's written so well. The screenplay is written like it was penned by a spastic monkey on 10,000 mg of Acai Berry. This is some of the worst screenwriting I've seen in some time. Beyond bad, horribly formatted and terrible overstated. Not to mention it does nothing new with the genre at all.
Let me cut my hand off with this hacksaw, which has the ability to cut through pipe one week prior, instead of cutting through one link of a handcuff...
My problems with Heavy Rain are this
1. I felt the walking was best when chained to the shoulder buttons of a controller. Had they made that applicable with the nav-controller, I'd be more immersed with it.
2. Some of the gestures they ask you to do with the wand is very foreign. And it should be, it's a new device. we simply haven't had much time to get to know it like we have the DS3. I mean, some of these gestures are out of left field and ...
I just wish they had stronger software for it. I love HVB, Planet Mini Golf, Tumble, The Shoot and Fight but none of them really embody what Move is or could be.
The fight is an amazingly underrated game, though. I had a blast playing it last night and couldn't understand why people can't get the hang of it. It's good. Damn good. But Heavy Rain & Resident Evil 5 both feel very tacked on and weighty. Not worth it.
I liked Heavy Rain best ...
What is Move at at this point and time? It's been out 2 months now. I got it day and date and haven't played but a handful of times with it. Last night I got into my 1st real session as I played
High Velocity Bowling (absolute blast)
Planet Mini Golf (loved it)
Heavy Rain (sloppy with move)
Tumble (reminds me of Jinga)
The Fight (way underrated gem)
The Shoot (arcade memories abound)
& some demos here and...
No, I mean for DL off the network. Certain games I just feel should be DL'able and it's one of them. I waited on the GOD OF WAR collection until it hit the network too. I think all PS2 re masters should be made available on the network. Actually, my mind set, and you all don't have to agree, is that anything 10 gb and under should be made to DL. I love digital media and my catalog of PSN content shows. I own 24 Ps1 games - 23 minis - and countless PSN games, including full P...
Closer to the real score here, but they still complain about issues that don't persist past the learning stage of the game. Condition yourself before you play. All I can say. The game is a damn good build of things to come. I don't usually listen to other people anyways, so I'm glad I didn't do it here.
The Fight is slick.
I sure wish the Sly Collection would come out soon. I know I want it infinitely more than Prince Of Persia. In fact, I don't even want the POP collection.
I finally dove into this one -- Got it on Friday and was reluctant to open it due to hoping a demo was coming to the storefront this week so I could try it out before not being able to return it.
As there isn't a demo planned for November of The Fight, it'll hit next month I'm told, I opened up the game late last night and popped it in.
I'm pretty glad I didn't send it back too. The game isn't perfect and there are a slew of things I ...
Offensive to any Ps3 owner who pays full price for this game. There is no way the PS3 version of Ubi-Soft games should be full price. They should sell for 29.99. The level of quality in their games do not warrant full price, sorry. I'd encourage everyone to buy this used if you need to get it. Which, I cannot see how anyone would.
Not another one. Damn, just give it a rest!
Playing Heavy Rain with move is like catching raindrops in an eyedropper. Its nigh impossible. Some things work well, while others you have no clue or direction on what they're asking you to do with the wand. You end up frustratingly waving it about in hopes you trigger the sequence. I so wanted this game to sell me on why I got the Move and all its components at launch -- So far it has done anything but.
Low, low price? 15 bucks is considered low for a PSN game now? Hell, this shouldn't be more than 10 bucks. Oh, well, I bought Rocket Knight and countless others for 15 and 20 bucks off the network. All of which I've regretted, what's one more?
Finally! But, do I still care? Thats the question. I might get it unless Konami's Dead Zombie thing game drops to 5 bucks like I'm told it will. In any event, cannot wait till this game is out so we can all focus on something new and exciting in the future. This game has been chest pounded to death this year.
Very close in this one. Very close. I think the xbox 360 might have a slight edge, but if was a stupid drone who actually bought a COD game and brought it back to jam on my ps3; I don't think I'd notice or feel like I was missing out on a better version.
PS3 held it's own with this one I think.
The lighting looks head and shoulders above anything I've ever seen in a video game. Including PC games. That is stunningly realistic, regardless if I like the series or not. I'm truly impressed by that.
By that time Microsoft will be introducing their next-next gen system and simply say they've opted out of the current gen for the future. Sony will never be considered the victor this generation, no matter what. Journalist and consumers alike will always side with the abysmal xbox they adopted first because they couldn't wait.
As I said, even if Sony does finally get past the xbox 360 in total world wide sales, Microsoft and the media will find a way to twist it to ...
So, without the nonsense and loyalist ****, which one is better? I really don't know as I'm not a huge follower of racing games or GT for that matter. It looks alright in pics but how about motion?
Of course this was expected -- Adolescent, prepubescent boys love shooting things and cussing at their tv screens more than mature, grown ass adults who hold jobs and families down.
COD is all xbox owners have to look forward to every year. Ps3 owners have a wealth of games and variety not found in their line up. The Ps3 caters to everyone, not just one demograph.
Could be what Kinect needs. I don't know how it'd work, I'm not a developer or tech savvy enough to make suggestions in this field, but it could be something to show consumers Hardcore can be done on the system. As of right now I just can't see much coming from Kinect in way of core games. I've played with Kinect a dozen times now and it just doesn't jive with me. Not in its current state. Move is by far a more superior form of media and, even with its lack of qua...
