i don't know when MS decided to charge for online back with the original xbox no one made a big fuss about it and now most console gamers think thats the stand even though no one charges for online. not all console gamers are push over games with a primarily hardcore fan base (socom, metal gear, ect) would be and are very vocal it really the casuals dominated titles that you see this sort of thing
i guess this industry just found out never mess with PC nerds. i wish console gamers showed this much dedication
i really wish they created the story co op wise. 80% of the game you play with a buddy so i think it would be awesome if they created it to be a co op campaign

please don't call me an idiot it's disrespectful and stanlee is right the 50 million that MS paid is going to be paid back either way. what would happen is that MS would get a bigger cut of the revenue of each GTA DLC sold until they got 50 million dollars and then ms would recive it's regular cut if the DLC didn't didn't earn 50 million dollars in profit R* would have to pay back MS so there was no way for MS not to get back their money plus interest.

man do i hate HHG i use to think he was harmless but me makes outlandish claim without any evidence. first of all MS did not pay 50 million dollars for exclusive they basically gave out a loan/advance in exchange for makeing it exclusive. great article but will be lost on the regular public. i think most hardcore gamers like us would agree games are already art but the public doesn't....yet. it's only a matter time. when they think of videogames they think of halos, GTA's and mario's which are all great but aren't art. as gaming grows and as games like shadow of the colossus and okami get through to the public the perception that video games are just "toys" will change

umm could that mean there could be more users complaining about the hadeware too? It says the 360 is in more searches but a lot of those searches could be "my 360 broke" or "my 360 got the RROD". i'm not saying it's true but just the statement 360 is in more internet searches is vague and has no real weight
i think it's unfair to compare KZ2 and uncharted 2 on any sales level considering how different the landscape was for KZ2. Take this into account uncharted 2 already has an established predecesor (drake's fortune) and is launching hot off the fresh PS3 slim and price drop. KZ2 launched as esentially a new IP as the first one really didn't create a big fan base and launched when the PS3 was 399 and in the post holiday/economic slump period. lol when i first saw the title i thought it was going to be an articles saying GT over rated it or something but this is ridiculous uncharted 2 got a great score from GT and is in line with all the other scores so i don't see any bias what so ever
you need voice acting to make a good character and before people start saying gordon freeman think about it for a miniute what makes the half life story great is the secondary characters like gmam, alyx, ect. freeman is an empty character and really has no weight on the story what so ever. the half life story is still great but imo i could have been a hell of a lot better if they added voice acting

there is absolutly now way the xbl will cost $100 bucks this generation or the next. the only way i see a $100 subcription fee is for an ultimate membership where you can play any XBLA game you want and get special premium features above gold membership but a standard gold membership will always be there being cheaper. i can see the price getting hiked to $60 but no anything above that
