I remember all the hype for Too Human, it wasn't a great game, or even a good game, but it had some redeeming qualities. Darksiders was a fantastic game that I loved every minute of. Seems like these guys know what it takes to put out a good game.
Looks like the film Gravity had a threesome with the narrator from Bastion and a Kerbal. Looks like a lot of fun.
I think this game might actually run on my laptop.
They've worked on a lot of games I love. I think Bulletstorm was way underrated. From what I've seen this game is definitely worth checking out.
I always get worried when matchmaking systems are brought up. There aren't many games that have successfully pulled it off. Though to their credit I haven't read any scathing tirades against it.
I just saw this game on Twitch the other day and it looks like a lot of fun. Everyone who was streaming was screaming, everybody playing was having a blast. Now I just need a PS4.
I've watched some of Rocket League on twitch and it looks like it's a blast to play.
I thought Montreal was only know for it's musical collective like the Arcade Fire. But it seems to be a hotbed for indie game development. The City of Lights must truly be a magical place.
4 player co-op on a game with pixel art? My hipster heart just skipped a beat. Moon Hunters seems like a way more involving Gauntlet. I'm in.
I'm pretty sure I would be a horrible designer, I can easily see myself falling into all of those traps. All the time. Constantly. Thank god there are talented designers like Tanya learning their lesson and putting out amazing work.
So far the Indie Dev's featured are all looking very talented. I would like to check out Shattered Planet, though they should have just called it Alderaan.
I'm a big fan of 2D platformers, there have been quite a few good ones in the last couple of years and Light Fall looks to keep that trend going.
I really like how they are focusing on putting a meaningful story into the game. I love Limbo, Bastion, Super Meat Boy, etc. and look forward to the next evolution in the genre.
The art style of course looks very inspired by Limbo that is by no means a bad thing. I love how kickstarter can allow the opportunity for these smaller, intimate games to get made.
I can't believe I'm missing out on all these cool giveaways. Starting tomorrow that will no longer be the case.
Diablo crossed with Baldur's Gate!? I think I passed out after reading that. If the game lives up to a fraction of it's rather lofty goals it will be pretty good. Plus I'm will to give just about any ARPG at least a couple of hours.
I appreciate the effort they have put into creating lore for the game and crafting an interesting story. However when it comes to ARPG's I really don't care much about that stuff. It all comes down to loot and progressing the skill tree for me.
These guys really put a lot on the line to get this game done. I'm a big fan of ARPG's and hope it plays as good as it looks and these dev's are rewarded for their hard work and sacrifice.
I'm a big fan of ARPG's, I'm so glad these dedicated devs didn't give up during what seems to be a very difficult path to finishing the game. I'll definitely be giving Grim Dawn a shot.
It seems so hard these days for a small, well made game to stand out amidst all the noise. Unless you've been successfully kickstarted it can be almost impossible to get any traction. I hope these guys are successful and look forward to seeing what they put out next.
