Hotseat MP, haven't done that in many years. I might have to give the game a shot.
I wish I had half the drive that he has. To develop a game on your own in addition to working full time is quite an accomplishment.
Can't say that the game insn't unique. It's like my four year old nephew came up with the idea, knights riding mechanical praying mantis' - and I mean that in the best way possible.
I love the boss designs in this game, and they way they fit with the environment the fight take place in. As good as the game is I think the soundtrack might be the best thing about the game, and that is saying something.
It blows my mind that such a small team is able to create a great game like this. The fact the the initial spark game from a game jam make is that much more impressive.
Looks really cool, the music in the video is very epic. I love the just fight bosses mechanic.
Can always add a game to the collection.
Put me on the list, I wanna try this out.
" Making quiet alliances only to immediately betray them, ganging up on the leader, or just switching up the teams..." More like Bomberman meets Gauntlet meets Risk.
Those screenshots give me flashbacks. I'm glad the focus is on gameplay, not every game needs to have gritty, epic storylines. I'm more than happy to just play a fun game.
I think it is great that they are focusing on gameplay and not some epic story. I find it weird when devs say their 2D platformer has an "epic, immersive story".
I'm looking forward to hearing from someone who has some hands on time with the game. I like the way it looks, the story might be a little ham-fisted but to me is secondary.
Roguelike makes me a little nervous. It can really place limitations on the gameplay and puts a lot of pressure not only on the player, but on the devs to really design their challenges to be fair. I would be annoyed to be perma-dead because of a stupid mistake I made, but I would be furious if I perma-die due to a poor design choice in the game.
Sounds pretty interesting, though it's kind of hard to suss out the gameplay mechanics from the video. I'd be willing to give it a shot.
These keyboards are sweet, I must have one.
From death comes life. History runs in cycles, and what is out will be in again. I think it very cool that the game started off back in the day as a WoW mod.
I'm a big fan of challenging games, and co-op horde mode is always awesome in my book. This is another kickstarter winner, so hopefully the community will be pretty robust.
From Canada to Croatia, seems like all the up-and-coming indie devs are required to come from the C. I wonder what country will be next.
2 for the price of none? SOLD!
Loving indie game month, great content and prizes.
