I pay for live but it upsets me, yes its only 4 bucks a month but thats a non issue, they want to lead the pack but arent willing to lower the cost for live in order to gain customers while the cometition has online for free and its competetive in what it does functionality wise, psn isnt as graceful as live but its dam free.

this game will average around 92 in meta when its all said and done, that doesnt change anything for me, i think it looks bananas and i cant wait to play it. even though whil emany may disagree not having coop really hurts the sp a little but what can ya do, ill take the super pretty gfx over coop at this point.

the guy a few posts above is correct, all this fighting between the 360 and the ps3 is so tasteless in the end, especially when the wii is kicking both its asses.
the ps3 is not flopping, nor will it die and go away.
But it is nt doing as well as the 360 at this moment nor anywhere as well as the wii. Its doing great on its own considering the higher price but in all honesty its not doing that well. Its not flopping by any means but it will get picked on more becuase they should be in first place, they are sony, ps1 and ps2 should have secured them at least second place and thats a bit off now.

his isnt a 2 way war, thats why sony is doomed in this gen, the 360 is doing well, the wii is killing them both, even if sony sales do increase there is nothing they can do to catch up. it will take 2 years at best.

and even going by your numbers no matter what happens there is no way for sony to catch up to that 8 million lead, sony is in third place this gen.
unless the 360 stops selling there is nothing that sony can do to catch up, now maybe at 199 it could catch up to the 360.
lets say they actually have a 8 million lead, now lets say sony starts to sell 100,000 more a month more then the 360, even then it would take three years to catch up. if the 360 lead is 8 million there is nothing sony can do other then having ms close shop(wont happen) to catch up.
sony is in third place for a while to come.

the npd numbers are out and theres likea silence about them, i think some sony fans are upset right now, for the 360 to sell double of what the ps3 did is bad and we all know january will be bad for the3 ps3.
But im not picking on anyone becuase the wii is just killing them all even in software sales for all of 08.
if november and december where so bad for ps3 then january will be crap for them as well, but feb will be a different story becuase of killzone 2 followed by a price cut(if it happens) will also surge sales.
this needing a new 3d ready set is mind boggling, why cant they do it without everyone needing a new set.
