what game or games last gen had great stories that where important.
As i remember correctly last gen and the gen before it almost everybody would be pressing buttons to skip any cgi or fmv to get tot the game because the stories where short or unimportant. there where some games like RE and mgs that had some story to the game and throughout the game but it wasnt a focus with gamers as it is this gen.

In my heart of hearts i believe the ps3 is the better console, i think and see that game wise it can do things the 360 games cant, but it has to many negatives abou tit that are positives as well.

The problem with the long haul situation , the long haul isnt this 09 year span, the long haul is up until a new system arrives, and 09 wont be the year the ps3 takes the lead, no matter what it does it cant be in second place for 09, by the time 2010 comes along the following year a new console arrives. sony cant catch up. Listen, its not going to help knit picking sales of each console, what you should be concerned with is getting people to stop bickering and truly support the ps3, if killzone 2 doesnt sell well who will you blame. the game will do as well as mgs4, there is no way it will do R2 numbers but i dont expect it to do gears numbers or halo numbers, not that it should or cant. Its a fps, and thats not what is known with the ps3.
But i do expect good numbers, its one of those games that has the hype behind it and it delivered but times are tough, its in a genre that can only go so far on the ps3. Plus unless sony starts to go ad crazy that alone will hurt the sales.

i was thinking the same thing, this is one reason patches suck, while i understand not every bug can be identified by the time its ready for release and then in a way its great that they can fix the issues and send a patch.
