and why does the 360 have to have a game that looks better then the best ps3 game, we all knew well before hand that with time that the more powerful ps3 would achieve better graphics, so why does the 360 need to top that, even though its most likely possible with a few games lets say using crytek but its not needed.
This obsession of one system having to have better looking games over the other is nuts.
On sundays where news is slow I actually appreciate the fact he has a new show every sunday, so thats all good, its something to watch while having a coffee etc...
The titles he uses as well dont bother me either, we are used to them now, they attract attention and we all kno what kind of show to expect, some fact, some fiction, some opinion etc...

Microsoft is doing a piss poor job at communicating to the masses that they even exist, there hasnt been any ads for it and its just not mentioned much unless you have a 360 and look for it.
And the other reason is because a majority of the games stink.
theres been more exclusives in 09 on the 360 so far then on the ps3 plus 2 more are coming starting with ninjablade next month yet people have the nerve to post this stuff.
so now games dont make a system only exclusives do, as if those exclusives helped the ps3 in its first year. or maybe even in 08, maybe r2 and motorstorm 2 made any difference. keep pulling at straws kiddies.

psn isnt the best, killzone2 cnat even invite friends, its limited as other games are where as live has all the features in all the games. until psn does what live does, the all psn is a good free way to play online, and nothing more, live has all the bells and whistles and is spread accross every game in the same manner.

Now that GG patched the controls its a shame that it cant be reviewed now, im sure many reviewers did not like the controls but got used to them and based their review on the rest of the game and forgave the control issue.
The patch did indeed fix the delay issue, its apparent when you move with your right stick and when you fire your weapon it finally happens on screen the moment you press the trigger.
It was obvious that the controls has problems, the reviewers not...
I hope they can fix the sluggish in game xmb.

This is the same crap we dealt with before, millenium came after 98 and it sucked just like vista and then they released xp, so now windows 7 is better then vista, same crap all over again, windows 7 is nothing more then a fixed up vista, it runs on the same ting that vista does, they said windows 7 is simply a tweaked vista. The nasty part is even after all the issues people have with vista they will release windows 7 which is nothing more then a improved vista and charge us 200 to 300 bucks...
THE demo released and immediately many noticed the lag, the retail released and the lag was still there. There are videos on youtube that show you this lag in detail.
The issue for many was never the button layout, never the need to play or have a button layout exactly to cod4 or other fps games. Not every game needs to have the same button layout of another popular game in order to be good. I wouldn't like it if every game played exactly the same or used exactly the same button ...
well your right, killzone 2 handicapped itself in many ways, no friend invites, no co-op, mp matches are strung together etc.. and like i said i think that happened for a few reasons besides GG wanting to give kz2 a different feel. Even though Kz2 doesn't have to be like cod to be good which it shouldn't need to do it should have features such as co-op in order to stay relevant with what other games offer. To the ones immediatly proclaiming cod4 as god please stop, I can respect your opinion if oyu played both and prefer cod but there so much wrong with cod4 its not funny and killzone2 surpasses cod4 in the litttle tings and details that cod4 lacks. For a sequel to a a lackluster game(kz1) KILLZONE2 SURPASSES many expectations and delivers a solid game,and i love the fact that gg responds to issues and fixes them so fast, much faster then epic and many other games.
I agree, yes it looks good and even though i can knit pick to no end its still a visual monster, yes it has jaggies, yes certain things look horrible like fans and chairs in a room but thats knitpicking, yes i have seen objects stuck in limbo and have seen your guys in sp do wierd things that are bugs but i overlook them becuase every game has bug and as long as it doesnt interfere in the actual gam play i dont care.
There are moments where the visuals surpass what i expected but...
Not sure which is better, they both excel in certain areas and lack in others, it could be people are so used to the kind of game play that cod offers that its hard to totally love killzone2 over cod, the games feel different and obviously killzone lacks in features like co-op etc...
I think GG spent alot more time on graphics, animations, weight and making mp as fun as they could and at the same time doing some things new and staying tried and true with what works in other areas...
its a good idea, get rid of the expensive model, the pro is god enough, drop the price on 120g hd and they are good to go, off the the pro in black as well and the problem is solved.

Im way past this stage, do i like kz2, does it meet my expectations, did the graphics live up to the hype, was the capaign the best out there, did the mp live up to the promise and did kz2 show itself as a beacon of hope for the ps3. Did the hype and years of getting it ready come through???..
