The point is nothing these devs say should really matter, the gamers prove that time and time again. The power of the system has never played a major roll in its success. NEVER.

While the point of the 360 possibly holding back a games full potential becuase its being dev'ed on the 360 first and not the playsation 3 is valid, at the same time the point of sony's mistake of making the ps3 so hard to dev for also is valid. you have to have the ying with the yang.

Exactly, its usually the kids that love this sorta news, as it really matters.
All the excuses they use as rebuttal have no bases except one, and that is if its holding the games that appear on the ps3 back, since the 360 is less powerful and the devs build the game around the 360 then somehow that cause the gen to have games that dont meet the full potential becuase they are being built on the less powerful hardware.

nothing at all but next year is to early for that to happen, xbox 1 lasted 4 years, i doubt ms wants to kill the 360 in gamers mind by only having it last 5 years, but if they can go 6 years before introducing the new xbox it will help in many ways but not leaving a bad taste in peoples minds.
its obvious all they are doing is laying the groundwork for the new xbox.
lets let everyone know the 360 is doing well and will be around for years to come, so when we introduce the new xbox it will be like what sony did with the ps2.

So now they have natal to give the 360 more legs which is great and now they will keep touting how the 360 will be around for many years to come.

I was thinking the same thing, on one hand psn has the upper hand by being free and it works well minus the bells and whistles LIVE gives you but its FREE and thats the key.
on the other hand, even though we pay for LIVE it has the more robust service with unified features across all games and now with what they showed at e3 its leaps ahead of psn and what nintendo offers.
At this stage in the game a few posters here are right, I will do my best from now on not to fall in the fanboy trap.
The ps3 is here to stay and delivered great games and some nice tech.
the 360 is doing the same and i like natals features of controlling the console.
The 360 shows improvement year after year even if slightly in the gfx department but they absolutly rock when it comes ot LIVE and adding even more features, between party movie, last.fm.fa...
as much as i loved natal he is right, it was 100% responsive, there was a delay, now if thats due to beta and bugs then fine, meaning if they fix that and any other issues then natal blows everything away, but if they dont fix it then it wont fair well.
