Nethack is and always will be the "definitive videogame experience of all time". Seriously tho, Nethack is a fun game and if you haven't tried it you should. You can d/l it for free if you search the web. Sure, its's WAY oldschool but that game has the most replayability of any game I've ever played. As a matter of fact, I still play it occasionally even after 20 years.

This game will dominate. I played the demo. I preordered it soon after.

I do see what you did there. You said "OOH Forza news!!" Then you got all bitter and whiny because there's no GT5 news so you had to pop in to troll.

Observation 1: “As a long-time game designer, I've learned that there's one defining factor behind a successful game – is it fun?” states Scott Orr, the founder and CEO of the company behind SPOGS Racing

Isn't that what Gearbox is saying about Borderlands? *gets very scared*

Observation 2: Why does the Big Rigs gameplay video give me flashbacks of driving an APC or jeep in ARMA 2?

I haven't played a Wizardry game since Revenge of Werdna. I think that was Wiz 4 if I remember. Those were sweet games back in the Apple //e days. *sigh* *daydreams*...

I plan to buy my copy used if I don't decide to just rent it and blast through it 2-3 times in a week.

I find achievement points adds a bit to the replayability of games. They are great for giving you ideas on ways to try certain missions, or using different character types. Also oddball stuff I probably never would have tried like flipping a car 5 times in GTA4.

I'd love it if they had more GRAW2 DLC missions. I'd be all over that.

If Ubi wanted to see more cash this year then maybe they shouldn't have released Far Cry 2 last October so full of bugs (IE - unloadable save game glitch randomly at 54-84% completion, or endgame ruining mission bug at 88%) and horrible multiplayer (where the room admin can boot you for killing him).

How Ubi could have made some serious dough this year.
1-push Far Cry 2 release to March 2009
2-fix all the bugs before release
3-improve the AI so that once t...

No doubt. I totally agree with that statement. I've been complaining about that since January that there hasn't been a decent 360 release (in my opinion, I didn't buy red faction or RE5). One thing's for sure though, I've played the $#!# out of the 30 or so games that I do own in the meantime.

It seemed all the stuff I was excited about got pushed back to after E3. Now Aug-Oct will hit and I'll have 8 or so games to buy :P.

I don't understand why the gaming compa...

I hope their new tech is a small shuttlecraft or helecopter-type vehicle instead of that Mako which made traversing those distant worlds a huge chore.

Dead Space had some interesting weapons to choose from.

Best weapon ever is after writing Elbereth on the ground with a +5 athame you then throw your blessed +7 rustproof Mjollnir at those pesky Mordor Orcs.

Oh wait, we're talking FPS's right?

That's because Plastic Goggles > PS3 J/K! *DUCKS*

Dude, what are you doing? Don't teach them how to play the game. It might mess up my 20:1 kill ratio haha.

The Mech in the videos looks like it is probably a WHM-6R or 7K Warhammer. I could only be positive by seeing the upper torso and shoulders though.

Last I heard it was over 650,000 different weapon combinations. They may be into the million range now. Also, the car you drive around in is just as variable.

Those are some nice pics. I only see 1 flaw in the whole set. On the Infinity, the quarter panel's wheelhouse looks a little jaggy and not truly round. The same goes for the area where the A pillar and uniside meets the door glass seal. But that is not as noticable.

Also looks like the edge of the road gravel is being improved upon. Compare to the pics of Suzuka.

I almost played frizbee with the Two Worlds 1 dvd after the first 5 minutes. At the time it seemed I would get more enjoyment watching the disk soar across the room than listening to the horrible voice acting and awkward combat system. The graphics were fair but not good. In the end, I played the game all the way through. It had some good points like the glueable stackable gear that made improved equipment. And the stealth system sort-of worked.

I just hope in TW2 I dont have t...
