3/5?? LOL.. Um.. No. I give DS2 at least 9.5/10. I played this game solid for 3 weeks to get every cheevo, then I played it through once with the hand cannon foam finger to get my revenge!
So, let's review... I played it through three times, then once on hardcore. I then played the DLC twice thru. That's 50 hours of gameplay for $39.99.

This article brings up an issue that I had been thinking about, concerning the cornering head tracking in Shift. If your head turns into a corner but the car doesn't, couldn't that cause you to understeer or turn late without immediately knowing it? Until you hit the outside wall of course.

Also I agree on the AI having perfect aim through 100 yards of dense brush over a hill sucked.

The only information I ever needed from the EA sports games was on what the create-your-own-player's stats do. Some stats like "speed", "acceleration" or "slap shot accuracy" is self-explanatory, but what does "aggresiveness" or "agility" do? That info was never in the manuals though.
Do what I do. I buy the game day 1. I play the game through and resell it. Then once all the DLC comes out and re-releases in a GOTY edition. I buy that one.

I always built my armour out of basic leather and brown hoods. I then embued them with bonuses using the wizard magic item tool. That way I could have authentic looking amour for my Garrett-looking fighter/thief.

I went back to play it last week and I was oversteering all over the place. Let me tell ya, fishtailing and weaving all over is not a Good Thing. Especially when you're going 130mph down the straightaway at SPA.
