Cry moar, little man, cry moar.
They could have the best games in the world but if they're going to shove a stick up my ass when I'm playing them, they can keep it, because that's exactly what they're doing with the restrictions.
They use a 'z' in their website name instead of an 's', yet call others 'immature.' Right.
Care to provide a source for that "We know PSN now costs $60" comment?
Is that why they can self publish on Live? Oh. Wait.
HAHAHAHA!
Counting their chickens a bit early, methinks.
A full console version is better than a handheld one? Holy shit, guys! Yeah....
I know the mentally handicapped need work too but seriously, Kotaku, I think you're well over the quota.
I visit the KS page everyday. Always puts hope in my heart for humanity, to see it failing.
Trollbait.
Used games either work or they don't. MS saying "We'll release the details soon" says "They work, BUT..." Anything other than "They work like they always have." means MS is restricting them. They have confirmed it.
Show me anything aside from this brand new rumor from "Doritos and Mountain Dew" Keighley where Sony has indicated restrictions.
You mean this Geoff Keighley?

Until we see something official, it's all horseshit. I feel sorry for anyone who still believes anything this guy says or does.
And? His rebuttal of all the claims amount to "Nuh uh!" also see: Silicon Knights v. Epic Games. No one in their right mind is going to fund anything that puts their money with Dennis Dyack after that. The man doesn't know what honesty is.
You really really can't understand why it's not getting funded? It's not a secret. It's not some mystery. It's not because Eternal Darkness was a GCN game or that it's a horror game.
Two words: Dennis. Dyack.
No one is funding this crook anymore.
You may not get this concept, but as Nintendo is learning now, it's the GAMERS that matter.
Casual audiences will lap up some initial hardware, but accessory sales? Nope. Major releases? Nope. Ask Nintendo about the attach rate on Wii games with the casual audiences. Ask the pubs and devs whose games didn't sell for shit on the Wii because of the casual focus. You may sell a lot of systems, but the money is made on games, accessories. MS shit on the audience that mad...
It should be off by default. This isn't 1998. I'm sure I'm not alone in immediately closing the page and disregarding everything you may have had to say on account of being immediately turned off by the site design and autoplaying music.
Calling people names to invalidate their opinions? How about writing an actual rebuttal.
"They can just compress it like LA Noire!"
Just no. they didn't just compress data to shrink LA Noire to 3 discs. They had to end up cutting two whole sections from the game because of the 360's disc constraints.

Another monkey with a blog and an opinion. The internet is truly 21st century AM radio.
That would be why those features are, y'know, OPTIONAL. No one is forced to use them or link the accounts, but for some they ARE a selling point and ignoring that means losing sales to the systems that DO have them.
