Doesn't this cost more than a new controller though? Plus you would have to get one for everyone playing with you if they too wanted an alternate controller.
I am not sure KB/M would work very well anyway since the games were not made with it in mind. Especially games that you can not turn the auto aim off. I could be wrong but I thought even games that let you turn auto aim off only turned it down not "off".
I joined premium and kept getting kicked back to "buy Premium" screen every time I tried to join the new maps. Turns out I just had to go to PSN store and search. "China" - bam there it was. DL ing now.
well you could install games on the 360 so why would they not allow it on the One(?). I am sure they will limit the size though like they did on 360.
I remember saving up to get one right after release. The whole 3D worlds aspect had me hooked. My friend had a nice front projector he borrowed from work and we played Daytona sitting in the "driver's" seat on such a big screen. Good times. Resident Evil was killer too. I had a N64 at the time too but it just wasn't the same (until Goldeneye came out).
I did not even know you could install COD ghosts. I bought the disc but could not find and install option. Just put it in and played. Am I missing something?
Not at all but I will take a joystick over haptick feed back any day. Maybe a joystick with haptick feed back??
A controller needs joysticks IMO.
So if the left hand joystick and buttons are now not in line with the touch screen won't it make some games harder to control? ie FPS
I don't know why they think ppl will like those track pads. Too much like trying to play on Iphone/android with no proper joystics it just feels wrong.
Man I can't decide if I should get the PC version or the PS4. I have normally leaned towards xbox but I really enjoyed PC version of BF3. I just wish they would have filters for controllers because I just can't get the hang of KB/Mouse and if I use the controller on PC I get schooled! It doesn't help that I am bad at FPS on PS controllers.
I remember wanting the SNES/Sega Aura Interactor. It was around the same time you could buy similar things for car/home theater systems.
What are the hardware issues?
Everyone always talks about how 500GB will fill up fast if you down load all your games but you don't have to have them all on the HDD at the same time. You can delete a game you bought and download it later when you want to play it again. I do this now since my 360 drive is so small
This kind of set up I like on BF3 for pc. I use the controller for movement and the mouse for aiming/shooting and a few other things. for me strafing and moving feels weird with just the keyboard.
I think this is one big reason they have not supported it in the past. you could buy a nice KB/M for a fraction of the price of a controller and they would not see a dime. Not that the developer would personally really care I would think.
as long as there is separation. like servers for KB/M, controllers and maybe some for both. I prefer Mouse and controller combo since I have always been a console FPS player.
Not sure if you would really take a loss as a scalper. They can just return the unopened console to the store for a refund during the 30 days.
I agree with Gameratheart. I have had an xbox since day one of the first one. Have had live since day one. This is the first time I will be giving it a miss. I have had PS since day one as well but always played xbox for the online. All this news has really put me off MS and although I am sure some of it will turn out ok or be changed, I just can't see myself putting anymore money down on MS. I will continue to use my 360 for now but next gen - I think I will just stick with PS4 and PC - ...
I did! I picked a WiiU up at launch with Black Ops 2 and a pro controller. I thought it was going to be the best version of the game ( I also bought the Wii U for my kid though). While it was fun, it was hard to find matches and no one I knew had a U so I ended up getting it for Xbox.
