I don't think that they forgot him , Destiny just doesn't care for that type of gamer.

That's why I decided to wait a year to get PS4. In all honesty both PS4 and Xbone should have been held back, because they both were rushed out without all their features and very little game wise worth playing. 2015 is definitely going to be a better year.
You DanteVFenris and Conzul can go on all you want about "tutorial," I was done. I don't like pointless grinding, I don't like the deathmatch/crucibal, and I can't play with my friends because they own a PS4 and I own a PS3. Once story mode is over, there's little reason to play on if you don't have friends to play with and hate grinding. So yes, Destiny is over for people like me. Have fun being trolled by the Cryptarch.
You can always just rent Destiny. I spent a total of $15.24 when I stopped at level 20. I got to experience Destiny without being too disappointed because it's better to spend $15 than $60.
Sony didn't learn during the days of PS2 that having Playstation carry your company while all your other product lines fall to the wayside, what makes you think they're going to be any different now?
The sword part was the only real different part in Destiny. Destiny may not repeat the same way your COD or battlefield does but it does repeat in it's own boring/lazily developed way. Not to mention the grinding is awful, which you completely skip over by the way. In the end Destiny has problems it needs to address, defending it like it's great won't solve or help anything.
I rented Destiny after playing the beta because I thought, like many, the full game would be far better or improved upon from the beta. That didn't happen.
So in all fairness you can't say people really knew what they were getting into before hand.

Better missions, something other than fighting waves upon waves of enemies, more story missions would help Destiny a lot. If they continue the way they're going though a lot of people will be ditching this game and moving on to something else.
