What Killzone lacks is the inhumanity of war & the impact that it has on peoples lives. You just do not see the consequences of this war on civilian lives. The lead characters just don't have a background for you to relate to why they are really fighting this war. Or do they have any doubts or reservations? Some real emotion GG please
I agree with you. I guess what interested me in Alan Wake was the ambition of the game. It was soooo promising, then little by little all these great ideas ended up being down sized (be that due to time constraints/money/tech Ect.) for me, my disappointment really has nothing to do with it being a 360 exclusive.. Just a loss of ambition.

I heard Remedy put all their money into this project. If Alan Wake flopped then they would go bust.. Either way, this game could have been absolutely brilliant. Even though it is a very good game.
I think Remedy were overwhelmed by their ambition for this game. Graphic level, open world, real time day & night. It all added up to too much for them. Removing their PC roots was also a BIG mistake. Ultimately they down sized their ambition to a level that turned a AAA+ title to a general game
Wow, that was a fascinating read on NIT PICKING the NITS. As we can all see, there really isn't a world of difference between the 360 version & the PS3, unless you really like Nit Picking.

The psychological damage caused by killing people. The consequences on the mind & how this filters into the gameplay. Having David Cage's input really IMO is Sony trying to find something new to bring into FPS. Hopefully it will be something meaningful that provides real consequences to ones actions >_o?
Both the 360 & PS3 had problems at launch. Both consoles have their own market approach & consumer appeal. The only thing I found really rushed initially was the glut of bad games on each console.
All you people out there do yourselfs a BIG favor & get the move, sharpshooter & Killzone 3 it's absolutely brilliant. Give it a little bit of time to adjust from the dual shock, but you'll never regret it. The level of immersion is excellent. ; )
I'm hearing alot of lame a** comments. I'm really surprised at how well I'm doing in KZ3 with the sharpshooter. Top 3 on the main. The level of immersion is excellent. I would lime to see on leaderboards who also is using the move. However, as many have noted, it would be good to see more (imaginative) games that use the move ; )

I've been playing Killzone 3 & it's amazing. Crysis 2 looks amazing also. So what's wrong with liking both games? As for what you prefer, well that really should be down to artisti Preferences & gameplay tastes. ; )
I don't think the Dev's have quite got the best out of this Generation of consoles. Let them decide.
After all, no one has said they have maxed out a system, then not bettered it.
I read DUCK HUNT & I thought this was sooo wrong. Call me fascist, but the sharpshooter for me know is a must have. It feels great once you get over your dual shock upbringing LoL. Accuracys excellent (with the exception of my inability @ times) treat yourself I get this. It's a must have in my book of gaming. ; )
It just seems to me that this release is WAAAY too early. I mainly play warzone, & I don't think I have even played all the maps on offer. : (
