Here in Aus the limit is one per person per account. Guess it doesn't stop others from making a second or third account.
To be honest I did buy 2. 1 digital and 1 disc based.
I was in the ebgames store getting a game for my switch when I asked the sales consultant when would preorders go live. He said Sony would do the same thing as xbox to allow everyone a fair chance to buy.
Luckily I didn't listen and jumped on as soon as the preorders went live.
Thank God I was able to secure 1 each. Ebgames is now taking preorders foe the 2021 shipment.

3 million st $40 a pop or 3million on gamepass makes a huge difference. this is the sole reason Sony has no need to go gamepass. If you total up, how may first/second party games they have sold at full price, no matter how much gamepass would be, it will never make up the difference.

the last GOW sold 2.6 million copies. lets take an aggregate cost of $30 per copy, thats still 78 million dollars.

i game on 2 standard ps4 pros but i do have the 500mill, spiderman ps4pro,GOW pro, uncharted 4, kingdom hearts 3,MGS 4. 2x scorpios and a couple of the older gen consoles. being a collector im missing a few but good enough for now lol

as i said i dont condone it but we can bark all we like but when some of the major publishers dont care what can we do. yes we can vote with out wallets but i can almost guarantee the qaulity will suffer. when u have a 100 million budget for a game but they can only recoup half of that coz gamers dont have to buy 2 or more copies, then the dev is gonna suffer.

here in OZ, ebgames are still fulfilling ps5 pre orders while the xbox series x comes in constantly for new customers. all preorders fulfilled. series s still on shelves and online. luckily i got both at launch. no need to pay crazy prices
