Gamers take these things way too seriously. Don't buy them its pretty simple. It goes to show there are people out there who want to pay to play, so let them. Halo 5 everything is optional and it doesn't change the game and 343 are still caring enough to throw in DLC for free.

The difference between last gen performance gaps and this gen performance gaps is massive. Last gen it wasn't just the resolution that the 360 had over the PS3. It also didn't help when Sony claims the PS3 was more powerful. That was the problem last gen.

Maybe Foxtrot you should be focusing on playing good games and getting your head out of the business side of things. Games are made for your own pleasure. Its not a sport that requires a cheer squad.

Sales wise it is a clear winner. Sony sold more Consoles then Nintendo and Xbox. Just like Apple sells more Phones then Sony which is a clear winner and 3DS has sold more portables compared to the Vita.
Do sales justify a quality product? Not all the time, in this intense its all preferences, especially in the gaming market.

No surprise, Beyond Two Souls was a poor game last gen, getting a remaster does not up the review scores. The Org game sits on a low 70 Meta. Why should this be any different?

The VR device must be adding a lot of power to simply add 30 frames on top of 60 which current gen consoles have been struggling to do since launch.
You honestly prefer to play games at 90 frames knowing that they are going to be heavily downgraded to achieve running on VR? Count me out if that's the case.

I am not sticking up for the XB1 here, I am clearly stating the fact the 360 was a dominate console. Everyone starts off at zero share market, that doesn't mean you can create a console and expect it to sell. you need to win the gamers over which is what the Xbox brand did.
The PS3 was heavily modified and butchered to sell to the mass market, the fat PS3s were no longer sold and become extinct nothing the XB1 had to go though, its still the same hardware ...
You don't have to be the highest selling console to be the most dominate. The 360 took on half of the PS install base. The console dominated regardless on how you look at it. It made a name for it self, it had some of the highest selling games for last gen and it had 10 years straight of Live Subscribers. Sure it stop selling at the end of the gen but that doesn't mean it lost. The 360 was the best console of choice last gen by the gamers and the Devs. Just because the PS3 out sold it...
There not going to say it out loud but there lack of AAA games is due to there stupid VR project. My opinion but its only logical.
