Wow, this game is taking time. At the university me and two others had the chance to do some leveldesign for this game. That's almost 3 years ago.
We had to play through the first game to know what we were dealing with. Hope they'll add multiplayer in Sacred 2 too, it was fun playing Sacred with eachother.
Hopefully they'll add things to discover; quests, dungeons, rare creatures and such that's outside the main storyline as with the first game.

Windows is expensive in my humble opinion, unless you mean cheap when they develop things.
But I do prefer Windows over OSX and PC over Mac for that matter.
