the fact that you're down to four bubbles should tell you something. im a rabid sony fan and show that in my posts and still haven't slipped under 5. To do so you must be disliked from both camps.
Same reason as any, insecurities in their products on BOTH sides. The console war is boring, WAR needs let me into the beta so I can slip into my MMO world and out of this console bullcrap.

You were never a fan of PS1 or PS2? If you've never owned them and refused to take part in them I can understand why you'd do the same now. My problem is with the hypocrites who loved what Sony had to give them before and now can't help but try to kick dirt in their face before they're running at full steam.

I don't know why Microsoft feels as though Sony underestimated the challenge, MS has never tried anything like this ever. Home and XBL are far too different to compare the two in terms of implementation difficulty.
XBL is an instant messenger to Home's MMO. Its not a question of underestimating online implementation, but rather the time it takes to correctly craft such an ambitious online space.

If they introduce a $400 ps3 and MGS4 this holiday ALONG with Uncharted, then it gives Sony a serious competitive edge.
Nothing so far will move consoles like MGS4. People will throw their money at stores to play it.
