how is that delaying the war? did you make this statement because you feel they delayed (and ultimately killed) HD-DVDs chances of becoming dominant?
Digital distribution in high definition is still years from being mainstream enough to replace equal quality motion pictures. Domestic download speeds aren't anywhere near fast enough to download hi-def movies at a respectable rate, perhaps when new 100mbps cable internet starts getting supported later this year it will begin the pave the way...but its a long road. Add DRM issues on top of that and you've got your years till mainstream...

I play RPGs for a story, action games like this for the killing.
DMC was and is supposed to be a hardcore action game, not a hack-n-slash. Like I said if you can't hang then put yourself on Easy and play the game; people just feel like they're being a wuss or something by picking easy difficulty.

Guy below me, DMC3 did NOT have dumb A.I. and was made even stronger in the U.S. version of the game.

I never found the 3rd game to be that difficult, even at its hardest. These types of games are all about challenge though so if you can't hang with the difficulty than dial it down for yourself; put ego on hold to play the game.
Too bad they don't have A.I. that can adapt beyond the highest level of programmed difficulty.

I've concluded that the answer is three pronged:

It's really funny how every PSP game that gamespot gives a lackluster rating to the user ratings for are usually 1.5-2.5 points higher. Why is it that the games are obviously more enjoyable than given credit for by this one review site? Hmm.
